Purple settled down uneasily between Green and Blue, his stomach churning sickly and his mind reeling even more sickly with bitter, bitter thoughts. Even after searching for hours, neither he nor Second found any traces as to where Yellow could've gone, and how he could've disappeared.

Second was still quite set upon the dog theory, but at this point, Purple didn't know anymore. He just felt so confused.

Very confused, to the point that he didn't understand that the person standing in the aisle was waiting for him to pay for the bus ride until the person rattled his bucket impatiently right under Purple's face.

Purple immediately went and put his money in, giving the guy a sheepish smile where, unfortunately, he didn't get one back in return.

It wasn't long before the guy was done collecting money, and the bus had begun to move. A quiet murmur started up in the bus, led by the few people that sat somewhat near to the CG -- or at least, what remained of the group.

Second sat with the traumatized Red in the seats next to Purple's, while Purple sat with Blue and Green. With this arrangement, it was quite impossible for Purple and Second to talk, and seeing as they were the only ones out of the group that could actually respond to things, it only resulted in them being quiet for the whole ride.

If only Yellow hadn't disappeared so suddenly, Purple thought bitterly as he took a glance at the two boys that sat next to him. But then again, it wasn't really his fault...

At first, Purple had insisted they didn't move on with their trip so that they could search for Yellow and make sure that he was okay, but Second had managed to convince him that the better option was to just continue anyway. First of all, they were scheduled to continue, and if they didn't arrive on time for the bus, they could miss the whole plane ride home. And second, Yellow couldn't just have disappeared for no reason.

According to Second's theory on the matter, he believed that they would be meeting Yellow soon enough if they kept their eyes peeled -- whatever that meant, at least.

So here they were. On a bus. With one of their friend's missing.

He sighed, sinking down in his seat slowly. The air conditioning felt quite nice, but quite cold nonetheless. At least it cooled Purple's nerves, but it was still just as unsettling. For some reason, he just couldn't seem to calm down in any way. Could you really blame him, though?

It was basically only him and Second now, and yet, he still felt very alone. Second was probably going insane on his own accord, so in all honesty, Purple felt like the only sane person out of the entire group.

After a moment of dwelling in his sorrow and loneliness, Purple glanced over at the motionless boys that sat beside him. Blue was staring out the window, and at this, Purple tried his best to just imagine that this was a normal Blue looking out at a normal day who could respond to anyone at the sound of his name or the touch of a hand. But he found it quite hard to imagine, seeing as the silence that surrounded Blue was not a comfortable one. Instead, it just made Purple feel a little queasy, and he turned to glance at Green, who wasn't faring any better.

What a position, Purple thought bitterly, going to reach into his bag. He pulled out a small bit of origami paper and began to fold. At every fold and crease he made, the calmer he started to become. At least origami was something he could actually deal with. Something predictable and easy to make use of -- something that contrasts deeply with society. If only society can be just as predictable and easy to understand.
