I'm back!
Sorry for the late update....like I said before, homework is taking a toll on me :)
But here is another one! Enjoy!

They've been walking around for hours now. But Purple didn't know what to do.
Green continued being quiet at his side, following him as if in a daze, and Purple feared every time that he might collapse. He wasn't exactly weak -- but in his condition, it wasn't too hard to believe.
So Purple led him carefully through the crowd, scanning to see if there may be anything worth going to that might help Green. In truth, he himself felt like a zombie -- seeing but not really seeing. Feeling but not feeling. He felt especially numb at the moment, and he was sure that it was most definitely because of the dazed person he was holding hands with.
But then something caught Purple's eye. It was there, just for a second...
He was sure of it. A flash of pink. And for some reason, that one little glimpse of bright color brought him deep into a sense of deja vu.
Searching for the flash of pink, Purple was quick to deduce that it had come from a sign. As it turned out, he found that the pink belonged to that of a rollercoaster sign, indicating that a ride was nearby.
But it wasn't the ride that he was interested in. No.
Instead, he sent a sideways look at Green.
If Purple could get more information out of his dazed friend, then he would. The last time Green had heard the word 'pink', he reacted differently. Perhaps mentioning it again could bring Green back to reality.
"Green?" No response. Green didn't look up either. Purple was expecting that, though, and he continued confidently. "Wanna go over there? That pink sign-"
Immediately Green snapped his gaze to Purple's, his eyes widening. Perfect -- just what Purple needed.
Some type of reaction, anything, would work.
"Pink?" Green repeated.
He dropped back into silence, staring deep into Purple's eyes as he waited for some type of response. What he got, though, was an innocent look.
"Yes, pink. That sign over there-"
Purple was cut off once more when Green tugged firmly on his arm, his eyes still wide. "Pink....she...."
Purple's eyes widened in surprise. That was the first time Green said anything other than 'pink'. But what could he possibly mean by 'she'? Processing this, it was a while before Purple looked back at Green, growing surprised once more when he found that Green was still quite alert, despite the little time that had passed by with absolutely no conversation at all.
"Erm..." Purple shifted, a little uncomfortable with the way Green was looking at him. The feeling of him gripping tightly onto Purple's arm wasn't helping either. "Who's 'she'?"
Green's grip only tightened and he stared at Purple, causing him to feel quite self conscious.
"Dog." Green said quietly, his eyes searching deep in Purple's. A new look had passed over his features, begging to be seen as Green continued to address Purple in a desperate way. "Ka....ka..."
Purple bit his cheek, worry and concern beginning to form deep in his stomach. Now, this was a little too much compared to what Purple thought was really going to happen. He had expected Green to open up a bit more, yes, but not this much.
But it seemed like it was coming to an end.
And despite seeming to know that, Purple realized that the look on Green's face was that of a desperate one. He was hopeful, looking at Purple in such an intense way that only made Purple's concern grow bigger for his friend.
And he was trying to form a word at the same time. A word that he just couldn't get out, which only caused him to grow more unsteady and desperate -- impatient. He shifted, looking down at the ground, breaking eye contact with Purple as he tried desperately to sound the word out again.
"Ka...." He muttered, his grip on Purple slackening as he tried to overcome whatever battle he was facing in his head.
Purple could only watch, starting to feel useless as he saw his friend suffer. And that wasn't the bad part -- the bad part was that he couldn't even understand a thing, despite his friend being so desperate and hopeful at the same time. The clues Green had given him wasn't enough.
It was a while before Purple realized that Green's grip had completely disappeared, and upon looking up did he realize that Green was hugging himself now. Purple bit the inside of his cheek again, growing really concerned.
Never had he seen Green act so hopeless and scared before.
"Hey...Green..." Purple said softly, doubting he'll get a response. But shockingly, Green looked up, despite the fact that he was shifting into his dazed mode again -- giving the confidence that Purple needed to continue.
"Come here..." Purple stepped forward, wrapping Green in an embrace.
Despite doing this, Purple still felt as if he was useless in this situation. A hug definitely couldn't fix all the problems that had happened on this trip, and he began to doubt that it'll make Green feel better in some way. He was greatly surprised, though, when Green hugged back slightly.
Maybe a part of Green was still there. Purple had believed that at first, but then he grew unsure of it. The situation now, though, gave him a bit more confidence.
Purple patted Green's back softly. For some strange reason, he saw himself. But instead of in him like most would expect, he saw himself in Green.
Maybe that's why Purple didn't tell him that everything would be okay. Maybe that's why he didn't say a thing.
Because that's not how some people are comforted by.
A small noise caught his attention. Purple looked over at Green, his brow furrowing. Shoot...was he crying?
It had felt awkward before -- Purple was never the one to comfort somebody. It was usually the other way around because of all he's gone through...but at a time like this...
His hug only tightened and he whispered. "I'm here."
Then he dropped back into silence, letting Green continue to cry silently. Never let someone stop crying -- no. Give them time to let it all out.
He knew, of course. How could he not know about this? About ones' feelings?
He had been in this same exact position before.
He would know.
So he cautiously led Green over to a bench, letting Green cry as he tried his best with helping him calm down. In truth, Purple had never seen Green cry before -- but then again, they didn't really meet up as friends all that much.
But that didn't matter. He was determined to be with his friend until the very end. He had made mistakes before, and he was not going to repeat the same ones again.
Because he cared. Simple as that. Such a reason, despite it being short, was enough to boost his confidence up.
Yes. Because he cared.
So for the rest of the time Purple and Green spent there, it consisted of Purple comforting Green as they sat together on a bench. Not once did they move off of it -- Purple was determined to stay until Green felt better, even if it had to take away all the time they spent in the amusement park. Not once did he stop -- not even when the sky above darkened and his watch read 9:27. He knew that they would only have three minutes left, but he was sure the others could wait.
First priority: make sure Green would be okay.
And he stuck with it.
