"Wake up, Second!"
Said person just groaned and turned. He was close to falling back asleep before a pair of hands grabbed his shoulders and he felt himself getting shook in a rough way. His eyes blinked open almost immediately, and he sat up, groaning at the familiar silhouette of his friend standing before him.
"What is it, Red...?" Second asked slowly, his speech slightly slurred from fatigue. He was definitely not a morning person.
He glanced over at Red, expecting to see some eager face -- an expression that Red almost always wears. But instead of seeing what he expected to see, he saw the complete opposite.
Red looked worried. Even concerned.
"Hurry up, Second." He said, speaking quickly as if whatever he wanted to say was urgent. He seemed to want to say more, but he just closed his mouth and shook his head as he continued to watch Second hopefully.
At this, Second immediately sprang off of his bed and went to get ready. If Red's expression lacked that much eagerness and excitement, then it could only mean that something bad had happened. After coming out of the bathroom, he quickly took note of the room -- just in case it could give him a clue as to what was happening. But he got nothing at all. Everything was still in the same place it should be, and nothing was out of the ordinary.
With an uncomfortable feeling starting deep in his stomach, Second followed Red outside onto the fifth floor deck. As he walked behind Red, he took in the scene around him in slight awe and amazement.
For having such a bad, stormy day, the weather was quick to change it into something better, seeing as everything was bright and sunny. The sky was out once more like it has been, and not a single cloud could be seen in the air. A cloudless sky -- something to remember about.
But not because it was beautiful, or that it was amazing. It was something to remember about, because that was when they'd realize...
Red suddenly began to speed up, walking quickly toward where the others could be seen. Second could just make out the backs of Yellow and Purple. Blue and Green were probably standing on the other side. He followed swiftly after Red, still very curious about what he was soon to see.
Finally, the two stopped near the others and Red cleared his throat, catching everyone's attention.
Almost everyone's.
The others backed away, leading a clear view toward the lone back of one of Second's dearest friends. And this dear friend of Second's was sitting on the edge of the deck, staring as if traumatized down into the water. Not moving an inch. Barely seeming like he was breathing.
Blue, Yellow, Red, and Purple exchanged a look before looking over at Second, who only stared at the sight before him.
"We found him like this just this morning." Yellow stated clearly, glancing almost nervously in Second's direction. At this point, Second hadn't moved a muscle since he last saw Green in the weird position.
At this indication, the four stayed quiet, looking from Second, to Green, then back to Second, obviously unsure of what to do.
Then Second walked forward, the feeling of unease that had first sprouted in his stomach began to sprout out towards his chest. He reached out, hesitating. Then in a swift motion, he tapped Green on the shoulder.
Unresponsive.
"Green?" Second asked quietly, shaking him slightly. Still no response. Green just continued to stare down into the water as if nothing had happened.
