Get ready for this missing part in the story!! This is set back to when they were on the cruise ship, right before Green was found traumatized by the edge.

Are you ready >:)

Idk if I should warn you about this one, though. It is a little.....

...you'll see.

"So you're telling me to go look for it myself?"

Green raised an eyebrow at the younger boy who stood looking hopefully up at him, the latters' eyes wide and sparkling -- even in the dark.

Red nodded, clasping his hands together as he proceeded to plead with Green. "It would be suspicious if we both go, right? Right??? And if I were gone, the others would suspect me a lot. At least if you go, there won't be any problems, right????"

Green sighed, looking away. It was getting very late -- almost midnight -- and Green really did not feel like dealing with Red's antics at the moment. He felt sluggish with exhaustion, and already he was beginning to feel the start of a dull ache in his head, which clouded his mind and his thoughts. As a result, the poor guy just couldn't bring himself to correct what his friend just said. The faster he finished with this, the faster he could go to sleep -- not that he really got a lot of sleep these days.

Despite feeling this way, Green still took his time nonetheless. His eyes found the curtained window, immediately catching sight of how the right curtain hanging was slightly bunched up at the bottom end.

At this, Green fought the urge to go and fix it -- he did still have Red to deal with -- but after resisting this terrible urge for a few seconds, he knew that it wouldn't be long before he'd crack and move to fix it anyway. The slight bunch-up in the right curtain resulted in an unsymmetrical look, which made the whole thing look unappealing to the eye -- to Green, at least. So in a swift motion, Green moved forward to carefully rearrange the curtain, successfully making it look better -- at least, in his (egotistical /jk) opinion.

He stepped back to admire his slight handiwork, momentarily forgetting that he had something else to do until he heard someone clearing their throat in a loud, indignant way behind him.

"Oh...my bad, Red." Green turned back to look at his friend, immediately having to bite back a teasing smirk at the defiant and hurt expression he was met with.

Red rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. He said in a flat tone. "Uh huh, your bad. Now are you going to do what I said, because I assure you I will get you to do it one way or another, or are you going to continue being a little perfectionist and ignore me and that poor dog out there?"

He glared at Green, almost pouting in his defiance. Though even with such a death stare, Green was fighting the urge to laugh. He knew that in such a situation where Red was admirably determined, he probably shouldn't do such a thing -- it would definitely hurt the poor guys' pride and feelings -- but he just couldn't help it.

Fortunately, Green was able to push the urge down and move onto something else before it came back up.

"How rude of you." Green murmured. Of course, he had been able to stop himself from laughing, but he couldn't prevent the slight tilt at the corner of his mouth when he spoke. "You want me to find a dog in the rain?"

Red nodded, narrowing his eyes. He was quiet for a moment before he spoke. "What? Are you scared?"

"No!" Green said quickly, his smile disappearing. "I'm going to find that dog. Goodbye."
