Here is another part! Thank you all for holding in and being so patient :)

"Are you okay?"

Purple's voice was soft as he sat down next to his friend. The last night had not been nice for the latter.

Second sighed, shaking his head. He looked up at the clear sky above him, as if observing it to sketch it later, but he knew that he couldn't with so many things on his mind at the moment.

"I feel like this has been going on for way too long.." He finally said. "It has to stop soon...and...I don't know...I just have a bad feeling."

Purple could only nod in agreement. His friend did have a point -- for some reason, the moment he woke that morning, an uneasy feeling welled up inside his stomach, making him sick and nauseated.

It almost felt like something was going to happen, and it didn't feel like something good.

The two sat in silence for a moment, deciding not to talk and instead to watch the scene around them.

Families walked by them on the streets, each of them sporting huge smiles on their faces that had Purple and Second longing to feel. There was laughter, screams of joy, and just happiness bubbling around in the city.

It only made the two feel more depressed.

"Where's the others?" Second asked, his voice quiet.

Purple looked over at him, biting the inside of his cheek at the sight that met his eyes. The guy had dark circles under his eyes, and he was slouching.

"I left them in the room. What did you do with Red?" Purple replied.

"Red's chilling in the hotel also."

"Okay."

They fell back into silence once more. Their silence felt almost like a barrier, as if blocking out any signs of happiness from the rest of the world. They felt detached, isolated.

Maybe that was why they didn't realize the little furball that sat down not too far away from them.

It was a while until Second's dry eyes found those bright, baby blue eyes.

He blinked, then nudged Purple.

"Is it just me, or is that the dog we were trying to capture?" Second murmured, still warily watching the symbol of pure innocence that was sitting on the ground not too far away from where the two friends sat.

"Hold up...you're right." Purple said, his voice coming out in a breath of a whisper, as if speaking any louder would startle and alarm the dog.

Of course, that needn't be a problem for the dog was staring right back at them.

They were locked in fierce eye contact -- Second and Purple didn't even blink at the desperation of keeping this dog in sight. This dog was their last hope -- their last clue -- and it was sitting right there, yet they couldn't find the strength to do anything about it.

Luckily for them, the little angelic furball made no move to leave.

In fact, the dog stood and made its way closer toward the two, its tail swinging back and forth in a teasing manner. Its eyes dilated, becoming bright jewels in the sunlight -- which gained a great similarity to that of the eyes of a doe. Unconsciously, the two friends began to realize just how fluffy that fur seemed to be. How cute that dog really is.

Suddenly, a wave of peace seemed to settle in both of them. Second sighed, his mind going blank. The many shouts of laughter that he had heard before -- which sounded so annoying to his ears in such a situation -- immediately quieted down to almost a whisper, a soothing blanket that instantly calmed him down.
