A/N: Bare in mind, I don't live in Australia (NSWor parts where they use HSC because from where I'm from we have only 'O', 'A' Levels, GCSE and IB so I have no clue how HSC works.

I only researched on the subjects and stuff so I assure you it is NOT accurate because I have no idea how they grade HSC papers but I've heard something about ATAR? Apparently it's like adding up all your overalls so yeah.

I don't have any experience or whatsoever on HSC grading but hopefully this is at least convincing to non HSC students, and for all you who don't care...hope it still makes sense haha.

Enjoy! ❤

"What did you get honey?" My mum questioned anxiously. I stared at my phone still in shock, I put my palm over my mouth as my sight began to blur.

"I can't believe it" I spoke to myself.

I handed my phone to my parents and both of them both had the same reaction I did.

"Congratulations baby girl" My dad wrapped my arms around me tightly and kissed the top of my head.

Mum joined our hug with tears rolling down her cheeks as she smiled at me with the most proudest smile plastered on her face.

"I told you, it's all worth it baby girl" Mum spoke and kissed my forehead.

"Now all you need to do is graduate and you'll be out of the house by the time you're eighteen" I could tell mum was trying to not cry in front of Dad and I since mum was just like me, she just hates crying in front of people.

"And you'll grow up and become a young woman that will make us proud as always, you guys grow up too fast I can't believe you're already at this point of your life now" My mother was now full on sobbing which made me want to cry as well but I held it in for graduation.

"I love you so much" Mum pulled me in another hug and finally let me go after what felt like the whole year passed.

"We love you" Dad added and put his arms on my mum's waist. "I love you guys as well" I hugged the both of the before bolting upstairs and walked into my room with the biggest smile on my face.

It was all worth it.

"Catherine Anderson, Emily Darwin, Debbie Ferguson, Dennis Jenkins, Jaylen Nova, Ryan Thomas-" Names were called one by one, my heart was beating out of my chest.

"Calm down Sky" Seth assured placing his hand on my shoulder in attempt to calm me down. "Sorry" I smiled sheepishly at him and remained calm in my seat.

"Seth Kings and last but certainly not least, Skyla Butler" I followed behind Seth as we both walked up on stage to get our certificate like every other student.

"Seth Kings and Skyla Butler please stay on stage" I shook hands with the head master and posed with my certificate smiling widely at the photographer.

"Congratulations Miss Butler" The headmaster congratulated giving me a genuine smile before I stood beside Seth on stage facing other students and their parents along side teachers.

"We would like to make a special appreciation for both Mr Kings and Miss Butler as they scored A stars for almost all of their subjects" Everyone started clapping and cheering for us.

I felt Seth nudge my side slightly, I turn to him and pointed towards my family and Luke?

Luke.

My eyes met with his and I immediately smiled widely when he gave me two thumbs up.

I can't believe it, Luke actually came to my graduation. He actually came, he came to see me during my graduation, is this real life right now?

"Here are your token of appreciation for making our school proud and yourself proud" The headmaster handed us our trophies and I grinned in triumph, looking at the award in my hands.

We were then told to walk off stage and sit back to our seat. As the headmaster started his speech I began freaking out to Seth about Luke coming to my graduation when he told me the other day he had a show and couldn't make it.

"Okay Sky, I'm pretty sure you've been freaking out for about 10 hours now" He joked and I scoffed as I leaned back in my seat and turned around to see Luke who was talking to my mum.

He looked so beautiful.

The graduation finally ended, I had to meet up with my best friends, of course to congratulate them and take a ton of pictures before each one of us leaves the to go study further.

"I can't believe we're not seeing each other anymore" Emily pouted as Seth put his arms around her shoulders. "Me too it's insane how every one of us are seperating ways" Dennis sighed along with Jaylen.

"I'll miss you guys so much, we can't ever lose contact and never ever leave the facebook group chat that we made like  5 years ago okay? Promise?" I stuck out four of my fingers so all four of my friends could do the promise tradition.

"Group hug" Seth put his arms around all of us as we all hugged eachother before leaving to our families.

Luke stood there with his hands in his pocket and smiling at me. I ran towards him and hugged him tightly and I wrapped my legs around his waist just as if we hadn't seen eachother for years when it's only been 2 weeks.

"I told you I'd give you the best hug" I whispered and he chuckled and gave a chaste kiss."I've always known you could do it ever since you killed me in maths" Luke laughed.

"Thank babe" I grinned and let go of Luke when I heard a cough from behind.

"Congrats Sky" I turned to see all three of the guys came to my graduation and brought along a bouquet of flowers.

"You guys, thank you" Calum handed me the bouquet and gave me a hug following by Michael and Ashton.

"What are you doing here?" I asked them.

"To see you graduate, and to see some old mates as well" Calum said. "Of course, thank you so much you guys" I gave each one of the guys a hug before running off to my family to give them hugs along with Luke.

Graduation went absolutely great, I received countless congratulations. I still can't believe I will leave high school and my friends, probably the most toughest thing to do but you just have to do it sometimes in life and of course for all the right reasons.

I am just excited to see what is out there for me and where my future really takes me without being limited and held back. I want to know where I stand one day, or if Luke and I will stay together for years or not.

Whatever life throws at me, I will accept it no matter what if it's already fate then I will gladly accept it nobly.
