i saw you from across the way,
you looked so pretty today.
you were in the back of my mind as i looked around, you had me paranoid, afraid.
"what ifs" filled my brain,
"how could i approach your frame".
your eyes turned & looked at mine,
my thoughts went silent,
you calmed my steam.
we looked at each as if to say,
"i want you all to myself, would you say the same?"
