there's certain things i can't pretend to enjoy,
there's no point in it.
there's no life like a truthful life,
i don't need to appeal to your opinions.
i'm the only thing that should matter to me,
i know you won't agree.
you'd rather me dance around your troubles w/ glee, forgetting everything i want to be.
you'd rather it be you & me,
sidelines or starting gleams,
you'd rather decide from those two lanes.
there's certain things i can't afford to explain.
why spend time on things that make me upset?
i'd rather digress.
