don't look at me as if i'm not human,
as if i'm not a common person,
as if i don't know my place,
as if i don't understand my face,
as if i don't know where the line is,
i'm the one running this race.
don't critique my ways as if you're the most perfect soul to ever walk the globe,
even Jesus forgave.
it's only human to make a few mistakes,
nothing i've done was premeditated.
i beg, blame my flaws on the spur of the moment, don't jolt my brain back & forth as if i need to be rebooted.
i'm only human.
