if i died today
what would the Narrator say about me?
would He say i lived a good life?
i did my best with what He gave me.
would He say i should be ashamed?
i tried my hardest,
i never knew what He wanted from me.
i never wanted to be a slave,
it's just how everyone else behaved,
who was i to drift away?
how could i just disobey?
the world revolved around those ways,
if i stood off i'd die anyway.
what would my Narrator say?
i hope He's proud of me.
