don't burden my heart w/ your troubles.
trauma dumping doesn't even cure you - be realer. i've been alone in my room thinking of ways to make money -
nothing about that lifestyle was funny,
i smiled rarely, i was hateful, i envied.
i envied the ones who had it all figured out,
i tried to study their blueprint,
i couldn't find the proper route for myself.
i envied the ones who made it out,
i tried to use their flashlight, it kept flickering out -
i was left in the dark by myself.
i envied - i envied everything i saw, i envied -
i hated me, i didn't want to be involved, i envied. nothing about that shit was pretty at all, i envied -
i wanted to be better once & for all, i envied.
