End Goal

it was one thing to be afraid but you always said it'd end this way,
i don't get why you cling onto me.
from the kick off i told you any catch i make was fair game.
you told me you wouldn't touch the subject,
why do you still try to tackle me?
your conscience knows no bounds,
you're always wrong, yet, too loud.
what can i say? this is our reality for now.
don't blame me for the way these flags come down. i'm only aiming for a way to have peace to touch down in my life,
that's the end goal for me.
that's all i want in this life.
