After he calmed down, he drove from the cemetery to the mall in the city. I glanced at him every now and then, just to make sure he was okay. But to think he held all that pain in him for so long, made my heart sting in pain. I kept asking through the drive if he was okay and if he wanted to go back home but he insisted on shopping, saying it would take his mind off things.
When we reached held his hand out to me. And I had a mini debate in my mind if I should take it or not. I did take his hand without hesitation in the graveyard but that was because he seemed like he needed it and I was in some trance because that was the first time I had seen him look so broken. I think he could read my mind because he chuckled and said, "I don't bite."
I placed my hand on his and he gently grabbed my hand. And pulled me towards him. We walked hand in hand into the mall. He was wearing a black Armani shirt and a black slack pant. He wore some expensive gold watch which glittered in the sun and a black shades to cover his eyes which were a bit red and puffy from all the crying, which framed his face resting on the bridge of his nose. His tanned skin gleamed in the sunlight. His hair was a bit ruffled from all the hugging we did in the cemetery and he kept it that way which made him look a lot younger. He looked like a rich boyfriend. I could feel all the eyes on us as we walked into the mall. Especially on him. The women passing by all eyed him like an eye candy and eyed me with jealousy. I wasn't usually the type to show off so I just ignored them. He was mine for now. But I don't know for how long.
We walked through different stores. Gucci, Prada, Balenciaga. The stores that I never even dreamed of visiting, let alone shop from them. I volunteered to carry some bags but he refused my help saying, "It's not your job. It's mine. You just be pretty and buy what you want."
I giggled at his words. Look at him, behaving like my real husband. I only wish he was. As we were passing by hand in hand to the next floor, he stopped.
"How about we go there?" He pointed at the Victoria's secret showroom that was in the corner.
"Nope. I'm fine. I will order those things online."
"Comeon. What are you shying away from? I already saw your everything. I even kiss-" I jumped on to him to shut his mouth with my hand and dragged him away from the crowd towards the showroom. This man is a walking pain in my ass. Literally. I didn't mind all the people gawking at me as if we were crazy.
I felt his tongue dart out and lick my hand. I immediately took my hand off and groaned at him. "What are you? Five?"
He winked at me and my cheeks flushed. Idiot.
"Come on. Let me buy you some lingerie." He whined keeping the bags down.
"No. Don't you have work today? We should hurry so you can go back to your office." I said, placing my hands on my hips.
He stepped up to me, his face stern and eyes burning with lust. "Babe, you are forgetting who is the boss here. In bed and out of bed. But I would appreciate you taking the charge someday."
My cheeks burned with embarrassment at the mention of the unholy things he did to me in the bed. I don't know what was wrong with me, but everytime he reminded me of last night I would act like a fucking virgin teenager. Blushing, squirming under his gaze.
I turned around and practically ran into the showroom, trying to find a place to hide from him. A woman in her 30s, wearing a black blouse and a white skirt walked in. She was beautiful. More like sexy kind. She walked up to me. I straightened myself. "Good afternoon ma'am. Welcome to Victoria's secret. What are you looking?"
