11. The Help

I sipped on my coffee as I looked through the ceiling to glass windows in my study.  I saw Loviana, Dan and the woman named Sky that my brother liked, were playing in the garden with water pistols.  She was giggling and jogging away from Dan as he chased her shooting the water from his water pistol. Her hair was in a loose braid with few loose strands framing her face. They were flowing beautifully behind her as she ran. She wore a black bell bottom pants with a peach color off shoulder top. In a word, she looked gorgeous.

I overheard her today as she explained the importance of playing like kids. This was today's therapy. And I was quite amazed by the new ideas she comes up with to make Dan's therapy interesting. She could have invited me to but she—

Oh god! Is she avoiding me?

Oh. Now I understand why she left early every evening. Coz if she didn't, she would have to face me and I would have to give her a ride. How was she going home by the way?

She even came late to work for the whole week so that I would have left for office by the time she arrives. I didn't notice all this as I was too wrapped up in my work. But now that I think about it. It all makes sense.

So she is avoiding me huh? Little does she know that it only makes me want to go after her more.

Sky seemed to whisper something in Loviana's ears and then they giggled. I didn't like her around Loviana but it wasn't like I could do anything about it. That woman bewitched two innocent people earning a score of two and I had a zero on my score.

Dan playfully wrapped his arms around Sky pulling her into a backhug. I gagged at the sight of their romance. Loviana just shaked her head turning to the other side. 

I called out to her "Loviana?"

She titled her head to look at me but so did the other two.

"I need you to help me with my work. Its piled up."

"No, she is not helping you with your work. She will be coming home with me. " Sky barked.

Dan and Loviana just stood their staring at us.

"It's in the contract. And your dear friend has already signed it." I retorted.

"Thats not fair." She protested.

This woman was literally more annoying than a fucking mosquito.

She then turned to Dan as if asking for help but he just raised his hands and shaked his head. He knew when not to mess with me.

"I still have a talk session with Dan, I need to teach him how to break the chain of his thoughts and how to divert our mind from the negative thoughts." She mumbled in a soft voice.

I sighed when Dan said "I win." I sent a glare to him when Sky seemed to notice this and "We're in same team, aren't we?" She said as she trailed her fingers up against his jaw. Dan closed his eyes and nodded.
