Robocar poli stuff because yes

Not Your Fault. (Mark x Bucky/Poli x Roy)

This is a continuation of the last chapter (Tears and Comfort) except with a bit more ship.

"Just admit to it already!" Mark hissed, furious. Poli stumbled back.

"I-I don't know what your talking about...What happened?" Poli asked, slowly backing away.

Mark scoffed. "Oh you know what happened. You had no right to treat him the way you did!" he backed Poli into a corner.

"Wh-" 

Suddenly Mark slapped him hard across the face. His cheek burned. Poli stared back at him in horror and surprise. "I-" He stuttered, moving a hand to his cheek. "I don't know what I did, I'm sorry but-"

"Don't lie!" Mark snapped back, harshly shoving Poli against the wall. 

Just then Roy appeared from behind Mark, pulling him away from Poli. "Mark!" Roy snapped, looking equally as upset. "What the heck, Mark?!"

Mark paused for a few moments then stepped away. He seemed rather surprised. "I, uh," He paused.

Roy pointed towards the door. "We'll talk later, go calm yourself." He strode past Mark and towards Poli, who was still in shock. 

Roy stood beside Poli, giving him a sympathetic look. "Hey are you alright?"

Poli's hand still covered his cheek, which was a bit red. "Er, I'm fine.." 

Roy stepped closer, pulling him into a hug. He put his hand over Poli's. "Can you tell me what happened...?"

Poli was quiet for a few moments, small tears springing up in his eyes. "I don't know what I did wrong," he finally choked out. "It was so sudden..." 

Roy pulled him closer, frowning. "I bet you didn't do anything wrong. I'll talk to Mark and get this sorted out. I promise. He shouldn't have done that." 

Poli sighed, staying quiet. After a few minutes he seemed calmer. "Well, Mark came in and started yelling at me. He didn't say why but..." He paused, swallowing. "He seemed really upset and, uh...he hit me." He looked away. "I should have been able to talk this out with him easily and protect myself but I-I don't know what got into me."

Roy frowned. "Don't blame yourself for any of this. It's not your fault. He was the one that came in and hurt you." He give Poli a small smile. 

Poli smiled back at him. "Thanks Roy..."

Just then, Roy kissed Poli softly on the lips. Poli was a bit surprised but kissed back. After a moment the pulled away. Poli looked away, blush covering his face. Roy chuckled a bit before pulling away from him.

"I'm going to be right back. I need to chat with Mark."

Poli nodded, "Okay. Thanks again..." He smiled. 

Mark looked at the floor. Both Roy and Bucky were standing in front of him. 

"What even happened?" Bucky asked sternly. "All I heard from the others was that you attacked Poli. Is that true, Mark?"

Mark scratched the side of his head guiltily. "Uhh, not entirely attacked, but I did...hit him." He turned to Roy. "I'm sorry about that."

Roy sighed, "Don't apologize to me, apologize to Poli."

Mark frowned and looked away. "I know, I should."

Bucky rested his hands on his sides. "Why would you do that?"

Mark sighed looking towards Bucky. "I thought it had to do with what happened last night...I was just upset at the thought that someone hurt you..."

"Oh," Bucky sighed before giving him a small smile. "That didn't have anything to do with the rescue team. It was someone visiting who was being a bit...er...mean."

"Oh." Mark replied simply, seeming a bit embarrassed.

Bucky's face fell serious again. "But that doesn't exactly give you an excuse to hurt anybody. You should have come and talked to me about it more before going off and making a stupid decision." Bucky walked over to him, giving him a small pat on the arm. "Although I can't say I'm too mad at you..." He whispered to Mark, blushing a bit.

"Uh, yeah, heh.." He and Bucky made eye contact for a few moments. Mark felt his face begin to heat up a bit.

"Okay...so do we have all of this sorted now?" Roy asked, breaking the mood.

Mark moved away. "Y-Yeah! Um, I'm going to chat with Poli, unless he doesn't want to."

Roy nodded smiling. "Good to see we have this sorted." He narrowed his eyes a bit. "Now I'm expect this not to happen again. Mind confirming?"

Mark nodded. "Of course! This was my mistake and it won't happen again."
