"I did tell them...I hope you're not too mad..." Agnus said, shying away from the others a bit.

Jin shook her head with a sigh. "I guess they were gonna figure it out at some point. Thanks for getting it done. Hopefully we shouldn't have to explain it to anyone else. Perhaps the story will spread from car to car."

Amber nodded. "Hopefully no one changes it. Let's just hope that not too many people are upset too with this." She frowned.

Poli was looking around a abandoned, worn down warehouse in the woods. Jin had called him to Trackey's farm and on his way back he had come across it. It seemed to have been in bad shape so he gone to check it out.

He searched around the place, finding sharp tools and what looked like traps of some kind. He couldn't exactly tell if they were intended to hurt animals or humans. Either way, he needed to get rid of them.

He made a quick call to Jin, letting her know of the situation before he continued.

Poli searched around the warehouse a bit, eventually coming to the conclusion that they should clear it out a tear it down. He tested a support beam, flinching as the place shuddered. He was about done here now.

Poli was about to leave when he saw a small door area inside the floor. Curiosity got the better of him and he slowly opened it up.

There was a passageway that lead somewhere within the ground. Poli hummed before hauling himself down into the the hole. There were loose stairs hanging into the sides of the dirt, posing as a ladder to climb out. It was a bit tight but as he began to head through the tunnel it slowly got a bit bigger and widely.

He turned on his headlights as the natural lights of the outside faded away. He noticed that there were some unlit sticks of wood attached to the walls. Interesting... he thought to himself. I wonder where this leads.

It's not like he needed to mark down his trail or anything, as the tunnel kept going in one solid direction, if he wanted to leave he would just turn around and go the other way.

Suddenly he reached an open space, still clearly underground yet it was large. The trail had led downwards so he wasn't surprised to see that there was enough space between fresh air and the musty tunnels of the earth to carve this.

Poli looked around, it was fairly empty. A bad feeling suddenly jutted through his chest. I should leave. He thought quickly, turning around and was about to head back when he realized he didn't exactly know which way was back. There were two tunnels, one leading deeper, and the other leading out. He hadn't left any footprints behind in the dirt to track.

He took out his transmitter, a bit surprised to see the lack of signal. Just then, there was a deep rumbling sound that came from one of the tunnels. The tunnels were caving in!

Poli turned to head for the other tunnel but it was too late. Earth crashed down on top of him and then he blacked out.

"I haven't heard from Poli in a while." Jin said worriedly, turning the others, who were behind her. "He was looking at an old warehouse. At first, he was answering everything I sent to him but he hasn't said a word since...about an hour ago?"

Amber frowned. "Would you like us to go check on him?" She offered, she suddenly looked determined. Helly nodded eagerly.

Agnus seemed rather unconvinced but went along with it.

Jin thought for a few moments. "I suppose that would be a good idea. But be careful."

They all nodded. "Lets go then!" Helly said quickly, flying out. The others followed suit, racing to Poli's last known location.

When they reached the area, they first noticed that it was a simple forest area. Amber stared at her transmitter, clearly confused. "Huh? I'm not seeing anything that could pose a threat here...is Jin sure she sent the right coordinates? How old are these?"

Helly scratched the side of his head. "Jin said they were from about 50 minutes ago, before his signal went out."

Agnus shrugged. "Maybe we should check the warehouse he was looking at?"

"But Jin said she saw his signal moving this way. Perhaps he'd gone somewhere else?" Helly suggested, turning to Amber.

"Perhaps. But why would his signal go out so suddenly? Plus, it's not like he would just ignore Jin. Especially in a situation like this." Amber searched around. "Maybe Agnus is right, let's search the warehouse."

Helly seemed rather disappointed at the idea but shrugged and went along with it.

They made their way to the warehouse, calling out Poli's name when they got there. They were to see the building barely in tact. They searched inside. "Poli? Poli!" They searched for a few minutes, but came up with nothing.

"This is confusing." Amber said, placing her hands on her hips.

Agnus's voice suddenly rose up. "Guys, what about this?" He pointed to a small door in the ground. Helly flew over, whipping it open, causing Agnus to jump back in surprise.

"Poli-" he stopped when he saw that it was simply a hole. Or at least if something had been there it had collapsed quite a bit ago. "Tough luck." He flew back over to Amber, jumping into a conversation.

Agnus stared at the hole. There were marks indicating that someone had been here. Plus, there was this feeling in his chest that this was important. Eventually he simply sighed and went to join the others.

"Where could he be?" Helly asked worriedly, looking scared for a few moments before covering it up. Amber gazed at him sympathetically. "I'm sure we'll find him soon. I doubt anything too bad has happened to him. He'll know how to deal with it if he did get into a situation anyway." She put a hand on his back, giving him a few comforting pats. Helly pulled away, looking doubtful. "That's what you said about Roy..." He muttered under his breath. Amber didn't seem to notice though.

"Perhaps we should get going..." She said, looking up at the slowly darkening sky. "It's getting dark and we won't be able to look for him in the dark."

Helly shrugged. "Fine."

Agnus gave one last longing glace towards the small door, his chest tightening as he stared. Finally, he set off after the other two.
