Mark walked back into the Rescue Center. "Buck I'm back!" He called as he entered. He began to head off towards his room when he saw the other room light on.
He put on a smile as he headed in. "Hey Buck, how are-" Mark paused when he saw Bucky laying huddled up on the floor. Immediately he ran over, ducking down beside him.
There were tears gliding down the sides of Bucky's face. He held his hand to the side of his face, facing away from Mark.
"Bucky are you alright buddy?" Mark asked cupping Bucky's face with his hands and turning it to face him. Bucky sniffled and mumbling something quietly.
Mark sat down beside him and pulled him close to him. "Buddy..." he frowned. He caressed the side of Bucky's face softly. "What happened?"
Bucky sniffled before going into a quick explanation, tears pouring from his eyes. Mark pulled Bucky onto his lap, hugging him tightly. Bucky sobbed into his chest, clinging onto his sides.
"Hey..." Mark said, rubbing circles on his back and shushing him softly. He sighed. "It will be alright..."
After a few minutes Bucky seemed to have calmed down. Now he was quietly cuddled against Mark's chest, sleeping. He held him a little tighter in his arms, giving him a small kiss on the cheek.
...It was stupid of them to treat you like that...This won't happen again.
