Amber let out a harsh cough. "Ugh, sorry, this illness I've caught really is a bother." She said in an apologetical tone.

Poli and Roy have her a sympathetic look.

"Then perhaps you should just stay at the rescue center today and rest. It'll help you recover faster than if you were to overwork yourself instead." Poli said, flashing a brief look towards Roy.

"No-well...I guess that does sound nice. Thank you." She coughed a few more times before slinking back into her room tiredly.

"Well this will be an interesting week." Helly commented, looking rather amused. "Hopefully she gets better."

Long story short, things didn't get better. After a week, Amber was still sick, and had a fever. The other rescue members were doing their best to treat her, but this illness wouldn't let go.

"Ugh, how much longer is this going to take?!" Helly sighed dramatically, waiting for Roy to finish something up.

Roy sighed, not turning to face the impatient helicopter. "I need to find this stupid medicine. Hopefully we haven't run out." His voice was soft yet minorly irritated.

Helly grunted, pushing himself to his feet. "Haven't we been taking care of Amber for like a week? This is so stupid. Maybe we should just let her rest it off."

"If you want her to get better faster, we may as well give her the medications she needs. Otherwise we'll be dealing with this longer." With every word Helly spoke, Roy began to feel more and more agitated.

"Oh come on-"

"Helly." Roy said, still managing a calm tone. "If you want to leave and go on patrol, you can. No one is stopping you other than yourself."

Helly didn't say anything, flying out of the room.

Roy let out a sigh, closing the cabinet filled with empty boxes of medication. Honestly, he couldn't disagree with Helly. Roy was just as eager for her to get better as he was.

"Are you feeling okay?" Poli asked, turning worriedly to Amber as she wheezed in a corner.

"Ugh, not really. I've been feeling like trash for the past few days, if you haven't noticed."

Poli frowned. "I did."

Amber shrugged simply. "I can-" she coughed a few times before continuing. "-tell it's nothing serious though." She cleared her throat. "I'll be better in a few days. Say has Roy found the medications I asked for-?"

"Uhh, I'm not sure I would have to check in with him. I haven't heard from him since he left this morning."

The door opened and Roy walked through. "Hey guys I-" Just then, Roy's foot slipped from underneath him, causing him to fall with a yelp. The lid to the medicine bottle he held flung off, causing the liquid to spill all over the floor.

"Roy-! Are you alright?!" Both Poli and Amber asked in unison.

Roy grunted as he pulled himself to his feet. "I'm fine, but um..." He looked down at the spilt medicine on the floor. "I don't think either of you understand how long it took me to find that."

Poli frowned again. "Well, now that you know where to find it can you go get more?"

"Uh, well, no. It was the last one in stock. They don't get their next shipment until Friday."

Being that today was Tuesday, they all stood in a disappointed silence. After a few moments Amber spoke up with a raspy tone.

"Well, it's just medicine. I would be fine without it anyway. Maybe some painkillers would do for now." She gave a weak, tired smile.

Roy looked doubtful. "Are you sure? I can go look for more if you want, it's my fault-"

"It's fine." Amber looked rather thoughtful at his generosity. "It's not the end for me if I don't get it so it'll be alright."

Roy still seemed guilty but didn't say anything.

"Here, let me at least help clean this up." Poli said, turning to Roy, who simply nodded in reply.

Helly stared at the slowly heating stove in front of him. He had not the slightest clue on how to cook, but Amber asked for some hot stew and Helly felt too bad to say no.

He turned helplessly to the cookbook beside him. "You better work wonders like they say you do."

It didn't. Now Roy was in the kitchen putting out a large fire the blazed upon the stove. Poli and Jin stared at it in surprise as Roy finished up.

"What the heck were you thinking?!" Jin snapped as soon as the fire was gone.

"I was trying to cook something for Amber to make her feel better! I know I should have asked for help but I didn't!" He said desperately.

Roy and Poli each gave him upset, but sympathetic looks.

"That was really sweet of you Helly but you should have asked for help from someone who can cook. If you had come to me, I would have been happy to help you. I could even teach you a thing or two if you wanted to learn." Roy said with a small smile.

Jin just rolled her eyes before walking out of the room.

"Oh yeah! Can you please help me? Amber is still waiting you know!" Helly pushed Roy to the stove eagerly.

Poli smiled before turning away.

A few weeks went by and Amber finally got better. But there was one issue. From trying to cure and help Amber, the others had ended up getting sick themselves.

With a long sigh, Amber muttered to herself: "This is going to be a really long week, isn't it?"
