omg, I just realized that the last time I undated was Feb 28 and its Mar 7 sooo I need to update this soo bad. Here you go, I was thinking about writing this for the past few days but never got around to it.

You can see this chapter as shippy or just Roy caring about Poli. Either way works.

Hope you enjoy! :D

I was smoldering hot outside today. Like over 100 degrees outside kind of hot. Roy knew that because of this heat, they would probably have some problems today.

Jin sighed, gulping from her 4th glass of ice water. "It's so hot out..." she mumbled, plopping down into her chair and wiping beads of sweat from her forehead. Just then, the power flickered off.

They all sat in silence before Helly muttered, "Well, there goes the AC...it was bad enough with it." No one spoke, all clearly exhausted from the heat.

Poli then continued. "Um, I guess I'll try checking on the town. I'll be back." "I'll come too." Roy said, looking towards him. "Maybe it's at least a little better outside then in here? If there's a breeze maybe?"

For short, it wasn't any better outside. In fact, it was much, much worse. Poli and Roy just ended up going together, chatting about stuff. At first, they kept the conversation up well, but soon they both began to get rather tired.

"Maybe we should head back." Poli said, looking uncomfortable. Roy nodded before frowning. "But the rescue center is so far from here.."

They both sat in an uncomfortable silence, trying to figure out how to possible cool themselves off.

"Hey Roy, is there any water in your tank?" Poli asked after a few moments.

Roy shifted his tires. "Erm, not a lot. It's not very cold anyway so I doubt it would help...Honestly, it feels really weird.

Poli frowned. "Alright then. Lets just try to head back, perhaps Jin has the AC fixed."

They began to drive back together, occasionally stopping to talk to and check on some of the townsfolk. After a few minutes they reached Mr. Musty's home. Roy turned to Poli, who was looking really sick.

"Are you alright??" He asked worriedly, looking him over.

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine. I just want to get back-"

"Roy, Poli!" Mr. Musty's voice sounded from the house. "How are you on this hot day?" He drove into the yard and down the driveway.

Roy turned his attention to the old blue car in front of him. "Good day, it's been hard work in this heat." He admitted with a small smile. "I hope you're keeping the kids inside. We've been a little busy with heat related incidents."

Mr. Musty nodded. "Yes, Mini has been in the basement, where we keep this large fan. It's a great cooling source!" He smiled contently. "I'd say that's the only thing keeping me conscious at the moment!" He chuckled lightly as he spoke.

Roy nodded. "I can say I'm jealous, our AC went out this morning."

Mr. Musty frowned. "Oh no, I hope you do get it fixed soon." He paused, thinking for a few moments before smiling again. "Roy, would you mind helping me with something?"

"Oh, of course!" Roy and Poli transformed and Roy followed Mr. Musty to the other side of the lawn, leaving Poli to wait by the fence. Poli walked over to the small tree in the yard, pressing his palm against the side of it and leaning on it. He felt terrible. Hot, tired, and sick. He felt as though he was about to pass out.
