The next day, Klaus is with Cami, who continues to transcribe his memoirs on the typewriter in Klaus' study while he paces anxiously.

"To be clear, if the Quarter is yours now, you still need me why?" Cami questioned Klaus after thinking while she was typing on the typewriter.

Kiara walked into the room, smiling at the blonde woman" Hey, Cami. We met a few times at the Rousseau's. I don't know if you remember me. Hi, I'm Kiara."

Kiara was wearing a blue top with a leather jacket, a jean and some boots.

"You're cool. I definitely like you! If I ever need a nanny, I want it to be you."Kiara smiled.

" Cami? What are you doing here?" Marcel said, glancing at Klaus at the sight of the blonde as he entered the room.

"Oh, it's quite alright. She knows." Klaus told him.

"She does?" Marcel asked.

"That you're vampires? Don't worry, he's compelled me to forget everything as soon as I leave. That way, I'm too busy agonizing over whether or not I'm losing my damn mind to realize I'm playing spy for an immortal egomaniac." Cami remarked.

"You compelled her to go out with me, didn't you? And I thought you really liked me." Marcel accused before looking at Cami.

"So did I." Cami said.

" I mean, to be clear, I only compelled you to give him a chance. Anything you felt for him was quite real." Klaus began to explain.

Kiara looked in amusement at Cami and Marcel glancing at each other. Klaus grinned in amusement as he spoke "And, for the record, the level of awkwardness we're all currently experiencing is entirely genuine."

"You think you're so clever, don't you? Compelling the poor naive bartender. Look what I found: real me, not your compelled therapist." Cami snapped as she showed Klaus the old newspaper photograph she found of him and Marcel from 1919.
