"There! Fire! Fire!" A Merc called out as gunfire erupted through the area, with Y/N and Lara ducking into cover. Lara started using fire arrows to take out mercs that were bunching up too close to one another. "Hey, move carefully, she's using fire!"

"Holy shit. Alright, get around... we can catch them!" Another mercenary ordered.

"Go in from the side!"

"Jesus, these guys might as well tell us when they're reloading, they already tell us their battle plan." Y/N said to Lara as he peaked out from cover and shot one man in the chest with his bolt action rifle. "This'd be a lot fairer if you boys could shoots straight!"

Y/N rolled into cover behind a crate, swapping from Lara's cover to draw some soldiers fire.

He shot one man in the head before shooting another in chest, ducking behind cover to reload.

He pushed up to a metal wall. Together he and Lara took down all the mercenaries, the pair of them fighting their way through the shantytown towards a chapel. As they were entering the building Lara fell into a trap. She hung upside down.

"We caught the girl! She's in the chapel!" A Mercenary called out as Y/N took cover behind the doorway and passed his knife to Lara.

"Capture her for the sacrifice!"

"Be careful... don't damage the altar!"

"Yeah! We got her trapped!"

"I got her!"

"... wait, what about the guy-" Before the merc's could think about that, they heard a gunshot from inside the chapel and watched their colleague fall to the floor dead.

"Yeah, what about him?!" Y/N called out as he stepped out from cover and shot five more men dead before stepping back into cover, reloading as Lara cut herself free, falling to the floor and jumping into cover and passed Y/N his knife back, he was quick to sheath it on his belt before he and Lara pushed out from the chapel together, wiping out the mercenaries.

They had a look around the chapel and saw a corpse hanging up like it had been crucified.

"Another sacrifice... my god, what's driven them to this?" Lara asked as Y/N looked at the scene.

"Jesus, this is sick." Y/N remarked as he opened a munitions chest and found some materials. Y/N looked at the floor of the chapel and noticed that some of the floor boards were weakened and he could feel a draft coming in from under them, he turned to Lara. "Gimme your bow and a rope arrow for a minute."

Lara handed him her bow and a rope arrow, watching as he fired the rope arrow at the floor and pulled with all of his strength, causing the weakened floorboards to give way, revealing a tunnel, he handed her the bow and arrow back before jumping down into the tunnel below.

The pair of them navigated a small cavern that turned out to be a tomb, taking some supplies for their journey before heading back the way they came from the chapel. They left the chapel and started making their way through the shanty town until they saw movement up on the rooftops above them.

"Move in! Move in." the Merc squad leader ordered as he ziplined down past Lara and Y/N.

"They're trapped! Surround her and the boy! There's nowhere for them to go."

"Holy shit. Rush her!" A Mercenary ordered as Y/N peaked from cover and shot five of them with his rifle before ducking back into cover and reloading.

"She's just one girl! And he's just one boy!"

"That one girl and one boy is kicking our ass!" A Mercenary said as Y/N shot him in the head. before shooting another.

"Just keep at it, alright!? They can't stop us all."
