Two Survivors [Lara Croft x Male Reader]

Lara found an entrance to an underground chapel. As she crept through to the chapel, she heard a voice, she hid behind a column.

"My brothers, listen to me now. Out in the world, we were nothing. But here... here, we are the Solarii, the Sun Queen's children. She brought us here for a reason. I know you want your freedom. I know you want to escape this place. But to do so, we must release our Queen. Like us, she is a prisoner. If we can free her, we free ourselves!" Mathias proclaimed from a small area where he had Sam tied to a pyre.

"Sam!" Lara whispered.

"If we can free her, we free ourselves! This girl... she carries the blood of this land. She could be the key." Mathias stated as Sam let out muffled sounds as she struggled. "The Ritual of Flames will show us the truth! Himiko, you are the first and the last... Speak to us now!"

Mathias held a torch and approached Sam but was stopped by Lara shooting arrows at the mercenaries, but they quickly captured her.

"You killed our brother! Now I'm gonna kill you! This is for Alexi, outsider." A Russian Mercenary said as he 

"Enough! Dmitri, Nikolai! Bring her to me! Every creature in nature will turn and tight when its very survival is at stake. So don't think I don't understand you, girl. I've just been doing this a lot longer. Ready yourselves, brothers. Our queen is about to speak!" Mathias said as Lara was brought before him, her weapons confiscated as she saw Jason looking around.

"Before you do that Mathias, let me have a little conversation with the "Princess" here." Jason said with a cocky look, walking towards Lara.

"Make it quick." Mathias said as Jason looked at Lara.

"Hmm. Now, where is your little "not" boyfriend huh? Where's this islands resident Indiana Jones?" Jason asked with a smirk as he knelt down to eye level with Lara.

"He's not my boyfriend." Lara lied as Jason smirked.

"Hey, look, I'm not judging, hell, I get it, cause he has got some beach ball sized nuts on him. If he were a woman, I'd gladly admit to wanting to get to know each other better. But I don't swing that way so my main reason for wanting to find him, so I can show him how fuckin' stupid it was to fuck with me." Jason said as Lara laughed.

"Are you sure I'm supposed to be his girlfriend, not you? Because it sounds like you've got a bit of a crush on him." Lara said with a smirk as Jason let out a chuckle.

"Mathias, I'm gonna take little Miss Princess with me back to my castle to lure out the plumber?" Jason joked as he grabbed Lara and pulled her to her feet, Mathias nodded before turning back to Sam. 

"Speak to us! Himiko!" Mathias said as he walked towards Sam and set fire to the small pyre, the flames started to rise towards Sam.

"Sam! No, no, no. Sam!" Lara struggled in Jasons grip as he held onto her, not letting her move.

"Speak to us through the flames!" Mathias called out as Sam responded with muffled sounds of panic.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Just look at me... look at me, okay?!" Lara called out to Sam who looked at the flames getting nearer, but before she was harmed, miraculously the flame was blown away by a stormy wind.

"She... she's the one, my brothers, we will be reborn! Take her to the throne room. Your fight is over, creature." Mathias said, the last remark to Lara who was dragged away by Jason as she still fought against him despite being restrained.

"You wanted to be with your friends right, well, you're gonna fuckin' love this." Jason said as he dragged Lara to a room where her friends were being suspended in a cage. "You lot, get them in the truck for transfer, someone start fuelling the cars and the tank. The boy's gonna come for her, and he is gonna suck the Highly explosive dick of a fucking Sherman, or he's gonna join me and my boys and save his little lady friend here, who knows."

Lara let out a dark chuckle as she was smacked by Dimitri. Jason turned to look at her and walked towards her, his baseball bat on his shoulder as he looked her in the eyes, he nodded to himself.

"Course, we don't really need you there, just need him to think you're with us." Jason said as he brought the bat back, before bringing it down with force towards Lara's head...
