Kalmin Lee, a quiet but feisty man who didn't show much affection towards anyone. He sat in his car in front of his new job before taking a deep breath and hopping out of his car. He locked the car and walked into the building with nerves all over. Kalmin walked in and was greeted with tons of people bustling around the building, and talking in every corner of the room. He looked towards the reception desk and walked over to ask the woman a question.
"Hello, I am Kalmin Lee. I am here to talk to Aaron Hotchner of the BAU. Could you possibly give me directions to the floor?" Kalmin asked
The woman at the desk looked up and couldn't help but get lost in his looks. Kalmin looked truly handsome to everyone around him, but not to himself. He never looked at himself in the mirror and thought he was attractive. The woman cleared her throat as she realized she was staring for too long and him looking confused.
"Floor 6. I'm Cyndi, by the way." She informed him
Kalmin didn't reply before he turned towards the elevator, pressing floor 6. Cyndi frowned when he didn't reply to her but went back to work. The door was about to close when a man placed his hand in between the door, opening them, before coming into the elevator. The door soon closed leaving the two in awkward silence. Kalmin looked at the man with him with curiosity. He was 6' 1 and was lanky with a tiny bit of muscle. He had long hair that reached his shoulders and was wavy. The man looked at him and gave him an awkward smile.
"Hi, I'm Spencer Reid." He introduced himself
  "Kalmin Lee."
Spencer nodded at the name as Kalmin looked at the elevator door in thought. That gave him the time to look at Kalmin who was a few inches shorter than him but he was built with muscle. Not as much as Derek Morgan, but he could hold his own. Spencer could tell Kalmin wasn't an affectionate person just based of the look of him.
"Do you happen to know of an Aaron Hotchner? I'm supposed to meet with him today." Kalmin asked
Spencer nodded, "He's my boss. I'll show you where he is."
Kalmin nodded in response as the elevator doors opened. The two walked side by side out, Spencer in front a little bit to lead the way.
"You gonna be working here?" Spencer asked
Kalmin hummed, "Yes, I am supposed to start today. I just have to meet with him and get my credentials and gun."
Spencer nodded, "Well welcome to the team! Everyone on the team works well together, so there's no pressure to get on anyone's good side. However there's one thing that I should warn you about."
  "Which is?" Kalmin asked
"They are pretty nosy. Especially to new people." Spencer informed him
Kalmin didn't reply or make any gestures as Spencer walked through the glass doors. The team looked up at the doors closing and they see Spencer with Kalmin. Kalmin tailed Spencer as Derek waved Spencer over. Spencer gestured for Kalmin to follow him as he made his way over to the team.
"Hey! This is Kalmin Lee! He's new here!" Spencer introduced the man
Kalmin gave everyone a gentle wave as everyone greeted him silently. Derek glanced at the man with a wide grin. He was shocked at how handsome this guy was.
"So where are you from?" Derek asked
Kalmin went to reply when an office door opened, revealing Aaron and David. Kalmin could tell that Aaron and David were the more serious ones by the frown lines on each of their faces. They walked down as Aaron looked at the team and then noticed Kalmin with them.
"Good. You guys met already. Means we don't have to waste time with introductions." Aaron held his hand out to Kalmin, "Aaron Hotchner, but everyone here calls me Hotch."
Kalmin grinned lightly and shook his hand, "Kalmin Lee, but my family and friends call me Lee."
Aaron nodded, "Sounds good to me. I just need you to sign a document and you are officially registered as an agent. I'll be back."
Kalmin shoved his hands in his pockets as Aaron walked away. Kalmin glanced at everyone who was going to be working with him. He pursed his lips as he didn't know what to say or do as he waited. JJ looked at him and couldn't help but look at him with amazement at his looks.
"So Kalmin, where are you from?" Derek asked
  "Korea."
  "Really? Which part?" Spencer asked
  "Gimpo."
"I been there before. It's very beautiful." David tells him
  "Gamsahabnida.(Thank you.)"
Aaron soon walked back down with the document Kalmin had to sign and laid it on the desk closest to them. JJ handed him a pen and he smiled lightly before he signed the document. Aaron took it as he examined the document one last time before nodding in approval of it. Kalmin leaned against a desk as Aaron looked at him.
"Welcome to the team. To introduce everyone, I am Aaron Hotchner, but everyone calls me Hotch. These is your team, Derek Morgan, Emily Prentiss, Spencer Reid, David Rossi, and Jennifer Jareau but she goes by JJ. You will meet our technical analyst eventually." Aaron explained
Kalmin nodded at his words as he crossed his arms. Aaron walked back to his office as the others looked at Kalmin in curiosity. Kalmin's phone then went off, making him pull it out of his pocket. He looked at the contact name before answering.
  "Annyeonghaseyo?(Hello?)" Kalmin answered
"Ibwa naya. Eotteohge jinaeyo?(Hey, it's me. How is it going?)" Orson asked
The team was looking at Kalmin in curiosity at the language but also interested. Kalmin reached his hand up to his neck, and rubbed the back of it in nervousness.
"Joh-eun. Geulaedo jogeum ginjangdoebnida.(Good. I am a little nervous though.)" Kalmin replied
"It's ok, Kalmin. Its normal. The others and I are rooting for you." Orson informed him
Kalmin let out a grin at his friends caring about him and rooting for him, unlike his parents. His parents, especially his mother, weren't okay with him changing from his old career to this one.
"I have to go but we will talk soon, okay?" Orson informed him
Kalmin hummed in reply before hanging up his phone. He placed his phone back in his pocket and looked up to see everyone looking at him. He formed a scared expression on his face, making them look away as to not scare him. JJ looked down at her phone and then looked at everyone with a wince.
"We have a case." JJ informed them
Derek clapped a hand on Kalmin's shoulder, "You get to start your first case. Excited?"
Kalmin let out a smile as he was lead into the conference room with Aaron already waiting for them. Everyone sat down as Kalmin stood beside Derek's chair as he had a finger on his lip in thought. Penelope walked in and saw Kalmin standing there only to notice what the other's had seen.
  "Is this him?" Penelope asked
"This is Kalmin Lee." David informed her
Kalmin held his hand out to her which she shook, but she held a scared look at his cold stare. Everyone soon noticed the cold look on Kalmin's face as they were going on his first case. Penelope walked to stand beside JJ as Kalmin looked at everyone confused by the weird looks he was given. He shrugged internally before he held his cold stare again as he listened to JJ explain the case.
"In North Carolina, two women, Sadie Watkins and Diana Hopkins, are missing. They want us to go find them before they end up murdered." JJ explained
"How many cases have they had of this?" Derek asked
"15 in the last year." JJ replied
Kalmin took a file that JJ placed on the table with all the information on the two girls. All were younger then 20, which made him feel upset for the parents to have lost their children so early in their lives. He felt guilty that he couldn't have prevented this sooner.
"Wheels up in 30." Aaron announced
Kalmin placed the file back on the table and made his way out of the conference room. He sat down at his desk as the others appeared out of the room as well.
