This fanfic is based off a dream I had and I thought it would be a cool fanfic idea.

Kalmin sighed as he parallel parked on the side of the street of the first victim's house. He took his seatbelt off along with JJ and both of them got out of the van. JJ led the way to the door and pressed on the door bell. Kalmin looked over his shoulder at the yard to see if there was any evidence that could be seen right then and there. JJ looked Kalmin up and down when he wasn't looking only for it to stop when the door opened. Kalmin shot his head back at the door as JJ greeted the person at the door. "Hello, I am Jennifer Jareau of the FBI. This is Kalmin Lee and we are here in regards of your daughter, Sadie Waltkins." JJ informed them "Hi, come on in!" Sadie's mother invited them in The two agents walked into the home and Kalmin took a glance around the room as JJ talked to the mother. He glanced over at the two before looking at the pictures on the walls. Sadie seemed to live a good life and had good parents. "What was Sadie like?" JJ asked Kalmin looked over and walked over to listen to conversation. JJ glanced up at him with a light smile, which he didn't return, before she looked back at the mother. She sighed softly to keep herself calm before replying. "Sadie is a good girl. She would never hurt anyone. She volunteers after school at an orphanage each Saturday. She has all A's in her classes and tutors freshman's each chance she gets." Sadie's mother replied "Is there anyone you think could have done this?" Kalmin asked Sadie's mother shook her head as no one came to mind. JJ stood up from the couch and placed a hand on Kalmin's shoulder. He glanced down at her hand with surprise as she talked to the mother. "Alright. Thank you, if there's anything you can help us with, feel free to call us." JJ told her Sadie's mother smiled lightly and nodded as she walked the two outside of her house. Once the door was closed, Kalmin gently removed JJ's hand off his shoulder and walked to the van. JJ frowned before hopping into the passenger seat as they headed to the second house.

They arrived at the second house and the father of the second victim was outside, watering his garden. He lifted his head up as he saw the two agents make their way over. "Are you here about my daughter?" He asked "Yes, sir." JJ replied Kalmin felt something rub against his leg and looked down to see an orange tabby cat. He knelt down and began to pet the cat as it weaved through his legs and around his body. The father looked at him and smiled as he recognized the cat. "That's Tyson. He's friendly." The man tells him Kalmin pulled a packet out of his pocket and opened it to pull out cat treats for the cat. Tyson quickly accepted them as JJ and the man watched with a smile. "You have any?" The father asked Kalmin nodded, "Yes. Three." "Wow." The father replied "You just have cat treats on you?" JJ asked Kalmin shrugged, "You never know how many stray cats are around." JJ smiled at his response as Tyson trotted off and Kalmin put away the cat treats he had. He looked up at the second victims father as JJ was talking to him. "My name is Craig Hopkins, my daughter is close with the Sheriff's daughter." Craig informed them "We were informed." Kalmin replied "Diana is a sweet girl, would never hurt anyone. She is in sports, has straight As, lives a good life." Craig informed them Kalmin raised an eyebrow at what he said. It was the same as what Sadie's mother had said about her. That could be the signature for the case. He will have to inform JJ as soon as they leave so they can tell the team. "Is there anyone you can think of that could have done this?" JJ asked Craig shook his head, "No. She only hung out with the Sheriff's daughter and his son." JJ nodded, "Thank you for your time." Craig nodded as the two agents got into the car. Kalmin put his seatbelt on and looked over to make sure JJ had hers on as well. When she was buckled in, he drove away from the house and began to explain the thought process. "There's a connection." Kalmin informed her JJ nodded, "There's a type of girl this unsub is searching for. Smart and well respected girls." "I think we need to talk to the Sheriff's daughter and son." Kalmin informed her JJ nodded at his words as they drove down the road. Kalmin rested his one arm on the console as he used one hand to drive again. JJ looked at him as he rested his hand over his mouth. It made her think that she wants her mouth over his. Her eyes then widened at that thought and looked away, only for him to look in her direction. "You alright?" Kalmin asked "Yeah." JJ replied quickly Kalmin looked at her with a confused expression before looking back out at the road. JJ slapped herself mentally as she thought back to her husband and kid to make her stop thinking about those thoughts. Kalmin turned the radio on and Ariana Grande started playing. He let it play as he silently tapped his fingers against the console. He looked over at JJ with concern. "Are you hot?" Kalmin asked "What?" JJ asked Her eyes widened as she only heard 'you' and 'hot' thinking he had called her hot. Kalmin gestured to the A/C on the car and she breathed out as she understood what he was saying. "No, I'm fine. It's actually really nice out today. Too bad we had a case." JJ replied Kalmin hummed and nodded as he turned the A/C on to a low amount as they drove in silence. JJ smiled at how he still turned the A/C on even if she wasn't hot. She needed to talk to the girls about this and have them help her with all these thoughts.
