Kalmin was driving the van as he, Derek, and Emily were heading to the crime scene. They had him drive, because Emily didn't trust Derek to drive. Kalmin had asked why she didn't want to drive, but he was left unanswered as she hopped into the back seat. "Who were you talking to in the precinct?" Derek asked "My mom." Kalmin replied "Really? I thought you were talking to a secret wife or something!" Derek tells him Kalmin shook his head with a chuckle, "No! You all would have known if there was one, also the whole thing with JJ wouldn't have happened." "Why was she at your apartment when your friends were over?" Emily asked "Trying to start something that was never there." Kalmin replied "Seriously?" Derek asked Kalmin nodded, "I was cleaning my apartment when she knocked on my door. She was trying to have sex with me against my will again. Luckily, my friends had arrived shortly after. She left so they didn't see her and question me or her about it." "They don't know?" Derek asked "No and I plan to keep it that way." Kalmin replied "What would happen if they found out?" Emily asked Kalmin shook his head, "I don't know. My friends and I are very protective of each other. If anything happened to any of us, we all go through hell." "You guys have a good relationship with each other. You don't want anything to break that up." Derek concluded "Exactly." Kalmin replied "Can you tell us about them?" Emily asked "I don't know." Kalmin told her "Please!" Emily pleaded Kalmin sighed, "Orson is the oldest, he's like a dad to us all. He called me on my first day to check up on me and to say everyone is happy and rooting for me. Then there's Mavros. Gym guy but he's a big softie. Koen, big artist guy and a drama queen. Hendricks and Caelan are the big sunshine's of the group. They always make us smile even when we have a bad day. Deimos, sarcasm king as I like to call him. Then the youngest is Alastor, he likes to pretend he's a man but we still treat him like he's a baby. I couldn't have a better group of friends." "All of you are so different but you have a close bond that brought you guys together." Emily replied Kalmin nodded, "Precisely." They arrive at the crime scene and hop out of the car. An officer walks over to them as they pulled their badges out. "What do we have here?" Derek asks "Bodies were found at mark one and two. Whoever killed them knew what he was doing." Officer explains "What makes you say that?" Emily asked "There's no evidence." Kalmin, Derek, and Emily looked at each other, curious about this case even more. They began walked over to the marks, but they had to jump across a ditch. Emily looked down and saw that today was the wrong idea to wear heels to a crime scene. Kalmin noticed and walked over to her. "Take off your heels and I will carry you across." Kalmin suggested Emily looked at him with raised eyebrows, "Are you sure? I don't want to trouble you." Kalmin shook his head, "You won't. I wouldn't have suggested it if it did. I'll carry them across the way while I carry you." Emily hesitated for a moment as Derek was watching the situation. She took her heels off and Kalmin picked them up. He brought a hand under her legs and brought his other hand under her back as he carried her bridal style. She brought her hands around his neck as he carried her over the ditch that was muddy and wet from all the rain. Once he got over, he handed her one of her heels to place on as he gently set her down so she could put the other one on. "Thank you!" Emily told him "No problem!" Kalmin replied They began the rest of the way to the markers and then began investigating the area. Kalmin walked around the area of where the markers were before stopping. "There's no marks of them being dragged." Kalmin pointed out Derek nodded, "They had to have been carried here." "How could they have carried them here in the middle of a neighborhood?" Emily asked Kalmin shook his head as he had no clue as he looked over to the trees. He frowned before coming up with a solution. "What if the unsub carried them from the woods?" Kalmin suggested "That could be an idea." Derek replied Kalmin took a glance over at the woods again as they began walking away from the scene. His gut was telling him that he needed to check it out, but he wasn't going to risk his life to go in the woods alone. He helped Emily cross the ditch again, the same way he did before, as they got back in the car. This time, Emily was in the passenger seat and Derek was in the back seat. They began heading back to the precinct and Kalmin sighed as he watched the road. "Babygirl texted me." Derek announced "What did she say?" Emily asked "She wants to know if we want to go clubbing after the case?" Derek asked Kalmin winced, "Are we sure we want to do that? Last time caused a whole bunch of problems. I basically ended a couples relationship." "That wasn't your fault, Kal! It was JJ's fault! How many times do we have to tell you?" Emily scolds "Kal?" "What?" Emily asked "You called me Kal." "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" Emily apologized "It's fine. Usually, I'm against nicknames but I like it. I just don't want you to say it around JJ." Kalmin informed her "Why?" Derek asked "She called me it and I told her to not call me that. She might get the wrong idea if she heard you call me it when I said she couldn't." Kalmin explained "Ok, I won't say it in front of her, if you stop thinking it's your fault." Emily bargains Kalmin nodded making her smile and place a hand on his shoulder. Derek glanced up from his phone and saw the gesture and smirked to himself. He went to his camera and took a picture before sending it to Penelope, not before telling her to not show or tell anyone about it.
