Kalmin sat on the plane leaning against his hand as he read the file in his lap. A bottle of water was sat in front of him making him look up to see Spencer standing there with a nervous look as he sat down across from him.
"Sorry, I didn't know how you like your coffee so I got you water." Spencer told him
Kalmin smiled lightly, "It's fine. Thank you."
Kalmin took it and opened it before taking a sip of it. He closed it and placed it back on the table in front of him. Spencer glanced at Kalmin to see him focused on the file in front of him before focusing on his. Not too far away, Aaron and David were together glancing over at the new agent.
"What do you know about him?" David asked
"Only child. Born and raised in Korea for most of his life. He has a rich family, but didn't choose to live in riches and privilege. Other than that, nothing. He will tell us more about himself as time goes on." Aaron replied
David nodded as he glanced over to see Kalmin focused on the file. He looked back at his file as he focused on the case.

The team arrived at the station and walked in to be greeted by tons of people bustling around with jobs to do. A man looked over at them and walked over, holding his hand out.
"Hello there, I'm Sheriff James Garner, but feel free to call me James. I have a room set up for you guys to work without no problems from my people." James informed them
"Thank you. I'm SSA Aaron Hotchner these are agents Rossi, Morgan, Reid, Prentiss, Jareau, and our newest Lee." Aaron introduced everyone
James looked at everyone with a smile and gestured for them to follow. Kalmin looked around the station as he followed his team to where they are going to be working. They got to a room with a long table and a lot of chairs, a whiteboard and an eraser with a bunch of markers, and a bunch of files mostly of the other cases like this one. Kalmin lifted up a file and opened it to be right as it was mortuary photos of the victims. He closed it and placed it back on the table to listen to the Sheriff.
"I have employees willing to help if you need it. This has been going on for years and we haven't been able to find the person who's done this." James informed them
"How come you now decided to call this in?" Kalmin asked
Eyes looked at him in surprise that he would ask such a bold question. Kalmin had a stern look on his face that he didn't seem to notice the eyes looking on him, except the sheriff's. James looked down with a frown before looking back up at everyone.
"One of the women who were kidnapped is a friend of my daughter. She has been going hysterical without her friend, so I finally decided to call it in." James admitted
Kalmin scoffed at his words making the others look at him again. Aaron gave him a stern look before looking back to James.
"Thank you very much and we will try our best to find her as best as we can." Aaron informed him
James nodded before leaving the room and Kalmin rolled his eyes. Aaron looked to him and gave him a strict look.
"Why'd you scoff at him?" Aaron asked
"I didn't mean to but he didn't decide to call it in unless it benefited him and that wasn't right. If it wasn't his daughter's friend, how long until more victims happen before he called it in?" Kalmin replied
Aaron nodded, "I understand. Just refrain from scoffing at the higher ups before you get a complaint."
"Yes, sir." Kalmin replied
Aaron walked out of the room, leaving everyone else alone. Kalmin sighed internally as he lifted a file and began to go through it. Spencer walked over to Kalmin and placed a hand on his shoulder, making him look in his direction.
"Don't worry about it. You got the least amount of anger towards you." Spencer told him
"Thanks." Kalmin replied with a light nod
Aaron walked back in after talking to the sheriff about what Kalmin said. He knew what Kalmin said was true, but he didn't want to immediately make it seem like because he's new that he was going to be treated differently.
"Alright, I want JJ and Lee to meet with the parents of the victims, the rest of us will be here doing a geographical profile." Aaron commanded
JJ nodded as she looked at Kalmin to see him standing up from the table. He held the door open for her to let her out, which she smiled at, as they walked out of the room. He closed the door behind him then jogged to catch up with her.
"You want to drive? I'm ok with it if you want." JJ asked
Kalmin nodded as they walked out of the station to one of the vans they took to get here. He hopped into the drivers seat and put his seatbelt on. He looked over to check if JJ was buckled in and was ready to go before pulling out of the parking lot. He rested his one hand on the console, driving with one hand, as Kalmin drove with ease. JJ looked at him with awe as she had never seen a man this handsome before. Of course she is married and has a son, but she was having certain thoughts in her head. She looked out of the window to keep her staring to a minimum. Kalmin looked at her for a second before looking back at the road.
