This fanfic is based off a dream I had and I thought it would be a cool fanfic idea.
Kalmin Lee, a feisty yet calm man joins the BAU only for him to not realize what he is going to deal with.

Kalmin, Derek, and Spencer arrived at the crime scene and began walking around to find evidence. Spencer tripped over a root making Derek laugh and Kalmin placed a hand on his arm to make sure he didn't injure himself. Spencer smiled appreciatively at him as they made their way to the crime scene. What they didn't know was someone was already there. They frowned confused as the person began messing with the victims. "Hey!" Derek yelled The man looked up in fright and began running away from them. The three began running after him with Derek in front, Kalmin behind him, and Spencer at the back. They were heading towards a gate to a nearby house as the man jumped over it no problem. Derek and Spencer stopped knowing they can't jump over it, but Kalmin continued running and to their surprise jumped over the gate as well. Derek and Spencer's eyes widened as they ran up to the gate bars and watched as Kalmin tackled the man to the ground. The man reared back and punched Kalmin across the face but Kalmin punched back harder, knocking him unconscious. Kalmin panted as he was out of breath from running, but lugged the man over to the opening he hadn't seen when he was running. Derek ran over and helped Kalmin get the man into the car to bring him to the station. Spencer handed Kalmin a napkin he just so happened to have on him to wipe the blood off his face. Kalmin smiled breathlessly as he began to hold the napkin to his face.

Emily walked over to Kalmin with two cups of coffee in hand. She placed one next to him as she looked at him with concern. "Let me see." Emily tells him Kalmin moved the napkin from his cheek to show dried blood and a bruise slowly forming. She winced as he moved it back over his face while she took a sip of her coffee. "You ok?" Emily asked "Yeah. It doesn't hurt too bad. I'm sure Morgan is talking about what happened." Kalmin tells her "What happened?" Emily asked "We went to the crime scene, only to see him messing with the bodies. Morgan called out to him and he started running. We began running, until he jumped over a gate. Morgan and Reid stopped, but I continued running and jumped over the gate as well. I tackled him and I didn't move quick enough and he punched me in the face and I punched him back, knocking him out." Kalmin explained "At least you are ok." Emily replied Kalmin smiled at her as she calmed down from being concerned about him. The team walked over to him and he removed the napkin to show them the damage as he knew that's what they wanted to see. JJ winced as Aaron inspected it. "Doesn't look so bad." David commented "You ok?" Aaron asked Kalmin nodded, "Yeah. I'm fine." "Good." Aaron replied Amanda and the sheriff walked in with information on the guy they caught. Amanda saw the mark on his face and passed him a first aid kit, which he accepted, giving her a smile. He began taking care of his cheek wound as he listened to the conversation. "His name is Jake Harrison, 30 years old. He's been around this area for years but we didn't know why he was at the crime scene." Sheriff explained "Guess we are going to have to ask him about it." Aaron tells his team Kalmin closed the first aid kit, handing it back to Amanda, and crossed his arms. Emily looked over at him to see that his wound seemed a little bit better than it was before. "Who's going to interrogate him?" Derek asked "Why don't we have Kalmin interrogate him?" David asked Kalmin looked up from his cup of coffee as everyone looked in his direction. He sighed and got up from the table and began heading towards the interrogation room. Aaron followed him with the Sheriff close behind. "Don't let him get to you. Let him talk and get him to reveal why he was there." Aaron tells him Kalmin nodded before walking into the interrogation room, making Jake look up at him. He leaned back in his chair out of fright at the sight of the man who knocked him unconscious. "Hello, I am SSA Kalmin Lee. You are Jake Harrison, correct?" Kalmin asked "Yeah, so?" Jake asked, not interested "So I want to know why you were at the crime scene and you were messing with the victims?" Kalmin asked He clasped his hands together on the table as he watched Jake's face. He was very stoic and not even trying to show emotion, but Kalmin could see through it all. "I have been receiving calls from an unknown number to do stuff for him to make sure my family is protected." Jake informed him "What's going to happen to your family if you don't do what he says?" Kalmin asked Jake gulped, "He said he was going to kill them. Please, don't let him kill them." Jake was sobbing now as he thought about losing his family. Kalmin frowned as he thought about if it ever happened to him. He nodded and walked out of the room to talk to Aaron and the Sheriff. "We can't keep him here." Sheriff tells them "No, but he can help us find the unsub." Aaron tells him "What are we going to do?" Sheriff asked "We are going to have him message the unsub and tell him to meet him somewhere secluded. Then we are going to follow him to arrest him." Aaron informed him Kalmin looked down at his phone to see a message from his mom, asking if he was okay and how Emily was doing. He rolled his eyes internally as he texted back, saying he was ok and that Emily was fine. He didn't know why she was asking about her, but he wasn't going to say anything about it. Aaron walked into the interrogation room to explain the plan to Jake. Kalmin was in his thoughts about it, wondering what would happen if this goes wrong?
