This fanfic is based off a dream I had and I thought it would be a cool fanfic idea.

Kalmin and Emily walked over to their desks to get started on paperwork. They would glance at each other every so often. Kalmin looked down at his phone to see a message from Orson that him and the boys had something to tell him. He frowned confused before picking up his phone, leaning back in his chair, and texted back to him asking if he should be worried about it. Orson answered right away saying he didn't have to worry, but he was going to come to his work to tell him in person. Kalmin replied back immediately before getting back to work. It wasn't long before the glass doors opened and Kalmin looked behind him to see Orson but he brought the whole group with him. He chuckled as he stood up from his desk and walked over to them. "I thought it was going to be just you?" Kalmin asked "You know I can't leave them home alone!" Orson replied Kalmin chuckled as they hugged each other as he moved down the line to hug everyone. Kalmin's team were looking over with curiosity and excitement to hopefully meet Kalmin's friends. Emily smiled as she saw the guys that had been in Kalmin's life. "This is a neat work space!" Koen spoke "Yeah, we should have something like this in our home. Which is what we need to talk about." Orson replied "What's up?" Kalmin asked "Remember when we spoke about moving close to you, so it would be easier to do other things?" Mavros asked Kalmin nodded as he remembered correctly of what they had spoke about. He was also glad Mavros didn't speak about the 'other things.' "Well, we found a house to house the 7 of us, 8 if you want to move back in." Caelan explained "Wow! I'm so happy for you guys but I'm gonna have to pass, because I actually have my cats in my apartment." Kalmin replied "That's understandable but if you want to stay over, you are always welcome to. We plan to move in sometime this week." Orson told him "Is there anything else?" Kalmin asked "That's something we can talk about in private." Orson replied Orson looked over Kalmin's shoulder making him look to see his team watching them. He playfully rolled his eyes as he looked back at his friends. "Yeah, of course. I also have to speak to you guys about something, in private." Kalmin told them "When we are fully settled in, you can tell us." Alastor spoke up Kalmin nodded before he watched his friends walk out of the building. He walked back to his desk to see his team crowding around his desk. "Can I help you?" Kalmin asked "Guys, give him his space." Emily tells them all "Are those your friends?" Derek asked "Yeah. They just got a house close to my apartment so they could be close by." Kalmin replied "That's amazing! You must be happy to have them close by!" Penelope tells him "I am." "Are any of them single? Asking for a friend." JJ asked "All of them are single." Kalmin replied "I'm surprised. You eight are very handsome." Penelope tells him "We each have our own standards for someone we love." Kalmin replied "What's yours?" Derek asked "I'd rather not answer that." Kalmin told him Kalmin grabbed his mug and walked away to fill it up with some more coffee. Penelope walked over to him with a different look than normal. "Hey, I'm sorry if you got upset with the questions. We just wanted to learn more about you." Penelope apologized "Don't worry about it. I get it. If you ever want to know anything, don't be afraid to ask." Kalmin tells her "How are you feeling?" Penelope asked "I am feeling fine today but lately there has been a lot on my mind." Kalmin tells her "Like what?" Penelope asked "I have been thinking of quitting to take my mind off the whole thing but it's not set in stone yet." Kalmin explained "I hope you don't leave, it wouldn't be the same without you." Penelope tells him "That's sweet coming from you." Kalmin tells her Penelope smiled at him before they both made their way back over to the group. Kalmin took a sip of his coffee as he leaned against his desk. He realized he finished all his paperwork and was just waiting to leave, or for a case to arrive. "So, Kalmin, how's your mom?" David asked "She's been better. I think she's just getting used to being alone without dad." Kalmin replied "At least she knows she has us to help out if she needs it." David tells him "She does." Kalmin replied David nodded as he walked pass to go to his office. Kalmin realized he might as well do something for the time being, so he rolled over to Emily and grabbed the book that was on her desk. He looked on the back to read the synopsis as she looked at him with curiosity. He opened the book and began reading it as she worked on the paperwork. Emily however felt like he wasn't even there and grabbed the arm of his chair and rolled him closer. His eyes widened in surprise at the sudden movement, before relaxing next to her and continued reading her book. She smiled at him not finding it awkward and continued working on her work. Kalmin smiled when he saw her left hand reach out to him. He held the book with one hand and reached over with his left hand to hold her hand. No one could see the moment the two were sharing so they didn't have to worry about anyone asking questions, unless they walked over and saw it up close. He would have to remove his hand from hers every couple minutes as he had to flip the page, but he would quickly grab her hand again to not upset her. Emily would caress his hand with her thumb as she worked, which he enjoyed.
