Kalmin walked into work the next day and sat down at his desk. He rested his head on his hand as he sniffled through his nose. He woke up with a cold, but that wasn't gonna stop him from coming into work. His eyes ended up closing for a couple minutes, only for him to be disturbed by Derek patting his shoulder. "Hey, you ok, man?" Derek asked Kalmin shook his head, "I feel dead." Derek chuckled, "You shouldn't be here today." Kalmin nodded, "I know but I have some paperwork to finish and I'll leave." Derek nodded, "Alright, if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask." Kalmin just replied with a thumbs up before he began to do what was left of his paperwork. The others soon walked in and noticed how Kalmin was looking and began to be concerned for him. "Hey, are you ok? Do you need some medicine or anything?" JJ asked Kalmin shook his head as he brought his head into his hands as the lights were hurting his head and eyes. He groaned in pain as Emily placed a hand on his back, rubbing it up and down, as she looked at the others with worry. "Lee, I think you should go home and get some rest." Emily whispered Kalmin shook his head as JJ was narrowing her eyes at Emily for the moment she was having with him. Emily grabbed her purse and passed him some sickness medicine, which he took immediately so he didn't have to leave. "Thanks." Kalmin told her "No problem. Let me know if you need anymore." Emily tells him Kalmin nodded as JJ continued looking at Emily, only for her to go off, telling them they have a case. Everyone got up and headed over to the conference room as Spencer had placed a hand on Kalmin's back as they walked in side by side. Kalmin and Spencer have gotten close like brothers over the couple days he has been a part of the team. Spencer views Kalmin as the older brother he has never had and Kalmin couldn't have asked for anything more. He would protect Spencer from anything, even if it meant taking his own life. They sat down at the table and Kalmin rested his head on his hand as Aaron and David glanced over in concern. "What's up with him?" David asked "He's sick but he doesn't want to leave." Emily replied "Are you going to be ok?" Aaron asked Kalmin just nodded as he looked at him with a squint of his eyes. He looked over as JJ was handing out files and she was hesitant to hand him his. "Are you sure you want to be on this case? It's a little gruesome." JJ asked Kalmin nodded as he lifted his hand up to take the file from her. She sighed and handed it to him and continued handing files out to everyone. Kalmin opened his and couldn't help but cover his eyes at what he saw in the file. Women with their eyes cut out, which made him feel sick to his stomach. Aaron glanced at him and sighed. "I'm gonna ask again, are you sure you are going to be ok?" Aaron asked Kalmin nodded, "Yeah, yeah. I'm just still getting used to seeing everything that happens in this job." Aaron nodded, "Alright. Wheels up in 20." Everyone stood up from their chairs, except Kalmin. Spencer closed the file as he, Emily, and Derek stayed behind with him. Kalmin finally took a breather and stood up as he smiled at the three for staying back with him, even if they didn't need to. They trailed in front or behind him, as if they were his bodyguards. They got onto the jet and began flying to Tampa, Florida as Kalmin had his head rested on Emily's shoulder. She let him rest on her shoulder as she watched over him with Spencer. JJ was jealous, she wasn't going to lie, as she watched Kalmin rest his head on Emily's shoulder instead of hers. Kalmin barely has talked to her since that night and she feels guilty, but again she couldn't help herself. Emily placed a hand on Kalmin's forehead to check his temperature. "Am I running a fever?" Kalmin asked "A little bit. Hopefully the medicine I gave you should cool it down a bit." Emily replied Kalmin nodded in response as he closed his eyes. Emily smiled down at him as she continued looking at the file. Spencer looked over at them and smiled as he watched the two together, also noticing the jealous look on JJ's face. He didn't understand why she was doing this to Will, he didn't deserve this at all. Emily had told him and Derek about JJ and Kalmin's little sex secret. However, Spencer couldn't wait to tell Will so he excused himself to the bathroom. He locked the bathroom door and pulled out his phone. He called Will's number and placed the phone to his ear. "Hello?" Will answered "Hey Will, it's Spencer!" "Hey Spencer, is JJ ok?" Will asked "Yeah, she's fine. I just have a question to ask you. Has JJ been acting a bit weird to you?" Spencer asked "Now that you mention it, yeah. When she came home she ran to the bathroom and explained that your new co-worker had dropped her off. Kalmin, was it?" Will explained "Yes. Kalmin is a good man, he wouldn't hurt her. He wouldn't hurt anyone. The reason I asked is I have an answer for you." Spencer informed him "What is it?" Will asked "JJ has been trying to get with Kalmin for the past couple of days. Kalmin just started working here and she even forced him to have sex with her." Spencer explained "What?" Will replied, shocked Spencer knew this was going to be a lot for the man to understand. His wife has been cheating on him behind his back, and her co-worker and friend had revealed it to her husband. "What are we going to do?" Will asked "I have an idea."
