After signing all 7 of my books, I handed them back to him and smiled, which he immediately mirrored.

"This means so much to me. I read every book as soon as it comes out and I'm so looking forward to the new book... what I've just heard has me so excited." he clarified, not even realizing that he had taken my hand in excitement. Normally, I didn't particularly like it when someone else touched me, but surprisingly, his touch was pleasant, so I didn't correct him and pulled my hand away... I didn't want to seem rude again, especially not in front of Jimin's friends.

"I'm so sorry, honey... I had to come here in the cab, did I miss it already?" I heard Y/N, who had suddenly appeared next to us and quickly gave me a kiss on the cheek. The corners of my mouth lifted even further and I saw Jungkook focus on her with interest.

"Baby, this is Taehyung and Jungkook, friends of Jimin and.... This is my partner and Namjoon's sister, Y/N." I introduced them to each other. Jungkook let go of my hand to take hers.

"Nice to meet you." He looked at her intensely and I raised an eyebrow... a moment ago he told me I was his favorite author, now he was checking out my girlfriend in front of me.

"Likewise." Y/N smiled kindly at both of them, then withdrew from the younger one and took my hand in turn.

"What do you say we go for a drink together? I haven't seen you for weeks," Namjoon suggested, looking hopefully at Jimin. If I came along, Jungkook and Taehyung would surely drag Jimin along and besides, we hadn't been out for so long. So I decided to help my best friend out a little.

"We're in." I got a surprised look from three people, everyone except the two new ones, as I usually talked my way out of things.

"That's good, I'm starving, let's go to a BBQ restaurant and have a drink while we eat." My sweetheart had quickly switched gears and understood that Namjoon had already missed Jimin badly. They hadn't seen each other every day since Jimin stopped working at the store and Namjoon had been in love with his former employee for so long, but the latter had never realized it because Namjoon was rather clumsy in communicating his feelings. To make matters worse, Jimin didn't catch on very quickly either, which was easy to see, as Taehyung also seemed to have taken a liking to him and made eyes at him wherever he could... just as unsuccessfully as Namjoon. Well, at least he seemed to be trying his luck. We decided to walk a few meters down the street, as there was a really good, typical street restaurant that we had visited several times before. I pushed Y/N's chair and sat down next to her and before Namjoon could sit down next to his sister on the other side, Jungkook was already sitting there. Frowning, I saw Namjoon sit down next to Jimin and Taehyung sat on my other side, also next to Jimin. Had Jungkook noticed that I was trying to help Namjoon and Jimin, or was he brazenly trying to sit next to Y/N? Was he perhaps an option for opening up our relationship? Could I trust him not to take her away from me in such a case?

But when I looked at my girlfriend, I noticed that she was completely focused on me, barely noticing the younger boy. I thought it was incredibly sweet how she hardly noticed the others and looked after me, but at the same time I was worried again.

"How do you two know each other?" Namjoon asked Taehyung, who didn't seem to have noticed that he was his rival for Jimin's favor.

"We work in the same department, we became fast friends... He's my only friend here so far." Taehyung explained and Namjoon smiled at him kindly.

"I hope we'll become friends, too. Jimin's friends are always welcome at my place and I don't have anyone except Jimin and Yoongi... It would be nice to spend time with others too." he said and Taehyung looked at him in surprise, but nodded in agreement.

"I'd love to." he seemed happy and I shook my head inwardly... would that go well?

"And you, Jungkook, what are you up to?" asked Y/N, who didn't like being left out of conversations. Jungkook's eyes lit up when she addressed him.

"I'm studying veterinary medicine, I'm in my final year and that's why I transferred here, because I have the opportunity to graduate from SNU. This is a great opportunity, I couldn't pass it up." it was cute how excited he seemed. He struck me as Y/N when she wasn't tired from work and the seriousness of life.
