"Tae... what are you doing?" I asked him when I had pulled myself back together and he quickly removed his face from me.

"Oh my... Jiminie... I'm sorry, it wasn't intentional... It came over me and I wasn't thinking." he explained, but my heart was beating like crazy right now. My stomach felt like it was twisted, it was a weird feeling, not bad but if it was good I wasn't sure either, anyway it shouldn't feel so good to feel his lips on me. He was supposed to make Namjoon Hyung happy, he deserved a guy as sweet as Tae, but not me... I've never even thought about being in a relationship, I always thought I didn't need it. If I had ever considered a relationship, it would have been with Namjoon Hyung, but since I thought love wasn't for me, I never crossed the line into friendship. Then Taehyung came into my life and everything got weird. I adored him as much as Namjoon and immediately thought the two of them would be good together, but why were all these weird things happening to me now? Not only was Taehyung constantly getting my heart rate up, but when Joonie Hyung smiled, I felt sick to my stomach. Maybe I was just extra excited to see the two of them together... and then again I was sad when they did something without me.

"It's okay... do you want to meet up tonight and have a movie night with Namjoon Hyung?" I asked him and he immediately smiled a little.

"I'd love to... I don't like being alone right now." he confirmed and I nodded before getting up.

"Alright, I'll let him know and you can come with me right after work."

From my office, I watched Jungkook as he stared intently at the monitor, reading carefully and taking notes on the research I had assigned him to do. Throughout the day he behaved normally, I couldn't see a bit of his brash and demanding nature, he was just helpful and polite.... Almost too much so. He went from one extreme to the other and I didn't know what worried me more. How could you find a balance? Suddenly he jumped up, grabbed his notepad and came into my office excitedly, having forgotten to knock, which made me smile... something had come up that needed to be trained out of him after all...

"Noona... I found out everything you told me to... you wouldn't believe what came out of that case..." he babbled on without a dot or a comma, put his pad in front of me and told me... but I couldn't concentrate on that because I was looking at him closely, all his facial features looking unabashedly dreamily into his big, round eyes and completely drifting off into my thoughts. How cute he actually was when he behaved so sweetly. His enthusiasm was infectious, even though I had no idea what it was about as I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying. Eventually I came back to reality and caught a glimpse of the pad so I knew what it was about.

"Great Kookie, you did a good job." I praised him and saw his eyes light up at the praise. I remembered how he had cried at night, how scared he had been and again a wave of compassion for him washed over me.

"Come on, let's call it a day, we've both been very productive... I need to get some fresh air." I explained and grabbed my jacket and my bag, waited until he had picked up his things and gave Jin and Hobi a quick wave before I took Jungkook's hand and pulled him behind me.

"Where are we going? And why aren't we taking your car with us?" he asked as I led him out of the building and onto the street.

"You'll see in a minute," I said and he stayed quiet, just walking along. After a few minutes, we reached the banks by the River and sat down on a park bench under a cherry tree that had been in full bloom that week. It was only when he squeezed my hand lightly that I realized I hadn't let go of it the whole time.

"Woah... it's beautiful here... So peaceful..." he began.

"No, don't talk... let's just sit here and enjoy the silence and the beauty of the surroundings. Look around and let it all sink in..." I demanded and he nodded with a smile... actually looked around and said nothing more. And I still held his hand...
