I drummed thoughtfully on my desk with the ballpoint pen I was holding and stared at the plate on which the strawberry cake had been lying earlier, but which now only had crumbs on it. It had been a few hours since the conversation with Taehyung and I was watching Jungkook through the glass wall that separated my office from the open-plan office. I had already informed him that we had an appointment later and he seemed excited. He sat at his PC and read intently. I had given him tasks to distract himself with, his behavior hadn't changed, he was still sweet, open-minded and courteous, his bad side hadn't shown itself all day. In the meantime, Jin was back, which was good, because Jungkook and I had to leave in half an hour to make the appointment. As if I had conjured him up with the thought, Jin came into my office without knocking, pushed the plate aside and sat down on the desk without a care in the world. I looked up at him with a sigh, because I knew he wanted to talk to me seriously, as the fact that he was sitting on the desk and not on the chair was a sure sign. He thought he looked more intimidating because he was sitting on a higher level, but in my mind I saw more of a small child wanting to sit closer to his caregiver... the fact that he was swinging his legs in the air didn't help him to look more serious, so I had to suppress a giggle again when I imagined him with a lollipop in his hand.

"Are you sure you want to invest your energy in this guy?" he asked, looking at me intently.

"Jinnie... he needs help..." I began, but was interrupted.

"And since when is that your problem? Don't you think he could destroy your relationship with Yoongi?" he asked me, making me sigh again.

"Yoongi of all people was the one who really wanted to help him, I was against it at first... but, you know... the longer he's with us and the better I get to know him, the more I want to help him myself... I can't tell you what it is, but he touches something in me... especially since I've seen his vulnerability. We have an appointment with a therapist soon. He's not bad Jin... Yes, he took a radical, completely wrong path, but that was because of his illness, he didn't do it to hurt anyone. Even if what he did was totally twisted, it all seemed to make sense in his head, he needs to learn right from wrong." I explained and my best friend rolled his eyes several times.

"That's what Hobi said too, but you know I don't want you to get hurt, you're closer to me than my family.... No one is allowed to hurt you, they have to get past me." he said sulkily, which made me laugh softly. I stood up and put my arms around him.

"You're more protective than Joonie and he's my biological brother." I said softly and kissed him on top of his hair.

"I'm a better brother than him and I'm better looking." he said with a grin, which made me laugh again.

"Oh, don't underestimate Namjoonie, he's got two hot guys on the line right now," I explained and Jin giggled.

"He hasn't been able to get anything done with Jimin for years, it won't get any better with Taehyung." he snorted.

"How do you know about Tae?" I asked curiously.

"Well... I had a date with Hobi yesterday and we bumped into the three of them... I can tell you, I didn't like their hug at all, since Taehyung is Hobi's ex... but then Hobi took my hand and said he didn't have time to chat because we were on our first date... I want to marry him... Seriously." gushed Jin and in front of the glass wall, I saw said Hoseok stepping up to Jungkook and talking to him.

"You'll have to come to terms with Kookie Jinnie.... Hobi loves him like a little brother... Give him a chance, if I'm not mad at him then you don't have to be either..."
