With my cell phone in hand, I sat on my sofa and researched what was needed to get married. But I still didn't know what it was like to hold the ceremony itself and then register the marriage. I couldn't find this out online either, which is why I called the registry office. When someone answered, I tried to concentrate on the conversation, even though I was all jittery.

"Hello... I have a few questions... what do I need to register a marriage?" I asked the lady.

"A completed marriage registration form. With both partners' signatures and fingerprints," she replied kindly.

"Do we both have to be present when we hand it in, or is it enough for one of us to come?" I then wanted to know.

"No one needs to come by, you can download the form and fill it out, then simply upload it to our website, since Corona the rules are no longer so strict. As their fingerprints count as proof of consent," she explained.

"Ah great, thanks... that's it. Goodbye." With that, I hung up... That was really easy... I just had to get her fingerprint and she was mine. And since he certainly didn't want to leave her, I would have them both for myself.

When I got home today, Yoongi was already in the kitchen cooking. We didn't have any fixed chores, but whoever had time first took care of the food and the other did the washing up. Yoongi washed and dried the laundry and I folded it later. The robot vacuum cleaner ran twice a day, with a fat cat always sitting on top, and at the weekend we cleaned and dusted. Everything was in order in our apartment, so it wasn't difficult to keep everything clean. We were both very happy that we had similar ideas about tidiness, it would be extremely annoying if one of us was a slob. Yoongi had sorted the books on our shelves by color and size, which I found strange at first, but the sight of it was actually reassuring, but if a book was misplaced, Yoongi felt so uncomfortable that he couldn't bear to put it back in the right place. That's why he never entered Jin's office again, because he was too shocked when he had to go there once. Jin's office was very neat, the books were also organized by size... but not by color and since Yoongi got up in the middle of a conversation and rearranged everything there, Jin didn't talk to him directly anymore, but let him tell him everything through me. Only in Joonie's bookshop could he accept that, because it had an alphabetical organization system that made sense for sales and didn't create chaos. You didn't have to understand it, you just accepted some of your partner's quirks.

"Hey baby... Dinner's almost ready." he greeted me and I went to give him a loving kiss.

"Thanks... I'm starving... Jin is still driving me crazy. He's asking how the book is coming along.... now he has a new employee... the cute waiter from the cafe, I told you about him... now Jin sits there all day adoring Hoseok, I had to keep reminding him after my work to get something done.... Of course he didn't get it done and now he's working overtime... and is still being rewarded, Hoseok offered to help him, now they are alone in the office." I told him and saw him grin.

"You chose him as your own best friend, you can't return him, there's no device warranty." he teased me.

"I was seven when I met him, how am I supposed to make sensible judgments at that age?" I said with a sigh as the doorbell rang.

"Can you go? I'll set the table" Yoongi asked and I nodded before opening the door.

"Hi, a package for... oh hey Y/N." the parcel carrier standing in front of the door raised his head and smiled at me with his little rabbit teeth.

"Jungkook..."
