When we arrived home later, the smell of Yoongi's kimchi jjigae was already in our noses and my mouth was watering.
"Hyung has cooked... it smells incredibly good," Jungkook enthused.
"It is, he cooks really well." I confirmed with a smile before typing the code into the lock and opening the door.
"Babe... there you are, I've been waiting... why are you so late? Was there so much to do? I've already finished dinner, come on, the table is already set. I've done so much research today, we need to talk." he talked faster than Jin rapped and I knew what that meant.
"Yoongi..." I started, just as he got into a flow of words again.
"Kookie, do you like eating kimchi? And soup? Or more thick than stew? Can you take it extra spicy or do you need yogurt to tone it down? I'll just get you some of the yoghurt." He asked one question after another, but didn't give Jungkook a chance to answer. He looked at me questioningly and I sighed. Of course, he only knew Yoongi to be very quiet and reserved, so the fact that he was suddenly talking like a waterfall must have really confused him.
"Is everything okay with Yoongi hyung?" he asked me.
"Yes, everything's fine... Sometimes he's just like that... when something gets to him..." I explained, and he came back again, grinning at us and waving for us to follow him into the dining room. There we sat down and he served us while he told us all about Jungkook's illness today and how to treat it, as well as what we could do at home to improve his behavior.
"Babe... how much time did you spend today?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow.
"Um... well, from the moment you left the house until I started cooking." he explained and I rolled my eyes.
"And your book? Did you continue writing it?" I questioned him further, his eyes lowered guiltily.
"No... but... I have ideas, I was stuck on a plot twist and I came up with something while researching, it makes the writing process easier and faster... if I don't have to think about it anymore." he reassured me and I nodded. Well, as long as he did his work anyway, I didn't want to get in his way... Not that it would have done any good if I told him not to.
"New special interest?" was all I asked in response before grabbing my spoon.
"Looks like..." Yoongi replied.
"What's a special interest and what's it about?" Jungkook asked curiously and I grinned mischievously.
"Yoongi drew the Uno Reverse card and is now obsessed with you." I explained to him with a giggle, causing him to look back and forth between me and Yoongi in confusion.
"Huh?" came his highly intelligent question.
"Kookie, you and I are going to meditate together later, it's actually supposed to help." Yoongi informed the younger boy.
"Yoongi... how do you want to meditate? Remember what happened last time... You stared into the flame until your eyes watered... but you didn't manage to switch off," I reminded him.
"What can I do if my inner moderator wouldn't shut up... but anyway, I've learned enough to guide Jungkook through it." my boyfriend pouted and I smirked because he looked so cute doing it.
"What's an inner moderator?" Jungkook wanted to know innocently and I giggled, imagining how the two of them would get off on it.
"You'll find out later... and I'll join you and take part. I absolutely have to experience meditation with Guru Yoongi," I said and Yoongi smiled at me happily.
"Okay, I trust you... but I'm not going to give interviews to some weird moderator, I'll tell you right away..." he explained, which made both Yoongi and I laugh.
