"Close your eyes and look into the flame of the candle," Yoongi began after we had spread out on the yoga mats in the living room, which had been cleared in the middle. In the middle between us stood an aroma candle, emitting its warm cinnamon scent, while Bam slept on the sofa that we had pushed away and Mephisto sat on his usual high perch on the cupboard, watching us skeptically. Jungkook looked at Yoongi, frowning, while I put my hand over my mouth to hide my giggles.

"Hyung... how are we supposed to look into the flame with our eyes closed?" he asked, earning a confused look from Yoongi.

"Oh... oh crap, I got the instructions mixed up." he scratched the tip of his nose, lost in thought.

"The breathing exercises... We'll start with those." I helped him out and he smiled gratefully at me.

"So Kookie... You look into the flame and breathe in deeply through your nose, breathe all the way down into your belly, try to imagine the air making it down below your belly button... then you hold it there for 5 seconds before slowly letting it out through your mouth. Don't just exhale, blow it out slowly. Try not to think about anything, just concentrate on breathing and the flame," he explained to the younger boy, who nodded and started straight away. I joined in, but couldn't completely switch off my thoughts as I kept watching the two of them, which was quite distracting. But since I was here to have fun anyway rather than actually meditate, I didn't think it was so bad. Jungkook breathed well, looking into the flame, while Yoongi kept looking up to see if Jungkook was following his instructions.

"This reminds me of Christmas... Candlelight and the smell of cinnamon..." said Jungkook dreamily.

"You mustn't talk... and don't think about Christmas either... Try to turn off the voice in your head." Yoongi admonished.

"What voice? I only see pictures." Jungkook replied irritated.

"You don't have a voice babbling?" Yoongi looked horrified.

"And you, you don't see any pictures?" Jungkook was just as horrified.

"Yes, I see pictures and hear a voice." Yoongi corrected.

"And I hear the voice, see pictures and see written words, not everyone thinks the same way... we already know that your brains work completely differently. Now shut up and concentrate on the flame... whoever meditates best gets to choose the movie later," I intervened and put an end to the discussion that had begun. If I were to talk about the movies behind my forehead now, it would only start more debates, so I let it go. They were both quiet now and stared into the flame.

After a few minutes, Yoongi looked like he was sleeping with his eyes open, while Jungkook looked as drifted off as if he was looking straight through a wormhole into another dimension. I smiled because both of them were completely different on one side, yet they ticked similarly. Both were no longer mentally present, but they had drifted off in completely different directions, while I sat here and made sure that they found their way back and that everything went well. Story of my life...

After twenty minutes, however, they were both startled because Bam let out a loud fart that apparently smelled so bad that Yoongi, who was sitting closest to him, jumped up retching and ran to the balcony door to pull it open. Bam, who didn't understand what the fuss was about, wagged his tail as a precaution when the giggling Jungkook stroked him reassuringly, while I fell backwards on the mat and held my stomach, laughing.

"Haha... next hihi... time... hihihi... but then... hehe... without the dog." I snorted as Yoongi came back with a greenish complexion and looked at the dog in disgust.

"What did he eat?" he asked, wrinkling his nose.

"Well... I guess you let him taste the food, judging by the red marks around his snout," I explained with a grin.

"Oh no, hyung... Bam can't stand spicy things, he'll be farting all night now..." Jungkook predicted and again I laughed because Jungkook was alone in the room with Bam tonight, I slept with my sweetheart...
