Kyle and Cartman hate each other. Well, at least that's what everyone thinks.
You see, while they argue and fight, Kyle deep down likes him. He believes Cartman can do better; he has seen it before. Cartman, at least Kyle thinks, isn't completely heartless, right?
Well, he probably is because Cartman... well, Cartman is planning something. You see, Cartman is obsessed with Kyle, not in a romantic way. He lives to make his life horrible, no matter what way.
Now, what is Cartman planning? A plan to kill Kyle? A plan to kill Kyle's parents? Well, um, no, his plan has nothing to do with killing—well, unless killing a reputation counts.
You see, Cartman wanted to dig up dirt on him, expose him, ruin his life, make him cry.
But how? Well, that's what Cartman was asking himself. That's when he turned a corner and saw, along with hearing it, his plan.
"I just don't get it, dude. You two argue all the time."
"I know, dude, but I just... it kinda just happened, and I know he can do better. He's shown he can do better; he just... I don't know."
Cartman hides behind a corner as he continues to listen to Stan's and Kyle's conversation.
"Maybe you got Stockholm syndrome," Stan suggests.
"Oh come on, dude... I'm not mentally ill," Kyle replies.
"Well, it just seems... odd."
"I know, I know... I just... I love him... his voice, his fat face, everything. Sure, his... bad side could... go away... he's committed so many crimes but... I don’t know..."
Stan sighs, "It's fine, Kyle. I support you. Just stay safe... if he harms you, don’t let your feelings blind you..."
Kyle bids, "Right, of course, I promise."
Cartman's eyes widen as he realizes who they are talking about. Kyle likes him!? What does he have? Stockholm syndrome? Probably.
Cartman couldn't believe it; this was going to be a lot easier than he thought. He could already feel a plan growing in his head. If he dated Kyle, he could have full control, everything, know everything, expose everything.
With this unexpected revelation, Cartman's scheming mind kicked into overdrive. The idea of manipulating Kyle's feelings for him seemed like the perfect tool to exploit and control every aspect of his life.
It was... perfect.
As Kyle and Stan left, Cartman couldn't contain his laugh. He let it out, a loud, cruel laugh. This whole thing seemed almost so easy to him; it was funny as shit. He had already made a foolproof plan in his head, and nothing could ruin it. Nothing! Well, at least that’s what he thought. However, perhaps his plan wouldn't be ruined by a person or object but by... a feeling that was inactive for a long time, a feeling that was locked deep down a long, long time ago.
As Cartman walked home, he couldn't help but have a huge smile on his face the whole time. It almost looked too big for his face, like it was going to pop off or something. It was almost goofy.
