When they finally got back home in South Park, Kyle flopped on his bed.

Cartman meanwhile was outside getting the biggest talk down in his whole life, surprised it didn't happen earlier.

"I can't believe you would do that Cartman!" Stan yells, "What the hell is wrong with you!?"

"Well, it's not the worst thing he has ever done..." Night says back, "He's killed a lot of people."

"Now's not the time for facts, Night, we're doing something we should have done a long time ago," Stan replies.

Kenny nods in agreement, "Yeah, this has been put off enough."

Night sighs, "So um...public humiliation?"

"Public humiliation!" Stan yells as he drags Cartman to the town's square.

Meanwhile, Kyle just sighs, resting his eyes, when he hears footsteps coming up to his room.

"Kyle?" a voice says.

Kyle turns and sees his mother, "Yes?"

"We're sorry. We just thought you were talking bad about your family," his mom says, "We didn't know what to do."

Kyle smiles, "No, I get it...."

"From this day on, Cartman will be a thing of the past," his father says, "Assuming you...left him."

Kyle goes silent, "Well...um...I...haven't..."

"What!?" his mom yells, "Kyle, what do you mean!?"

"Well....he kinda...broke down and felt...I think...genuinely sorry so..."

"Kyle! He could be faking it! Trusting him is what got you here in the first place!" Kyle's dad yells.

Kyle's shoulders slumped as his parents' words sank in. He knew they were right, but there was a part of him that wanted to believe in Cartman again. "I know, I know," Kyle muttered.

His mother sighed heavily, while his father ran a hand through his hair in frustration. "We need to keep a close eye on him, Kyle," his father said firmly. "If he steps out of line again..."

Kyle sighs, "He won't well...at least not like this again...I'll make sure of it."

"Kyle, it's safer if someone else does this," his mom says.

"Mom please I...." Kyle looks down in shame, "Still love him..."

Kyle's parents sigh, rubbing their foreheads and temples.

"Kyle, please," his mom begs.

"Please! One last chance!" Kyle begs back.

"Fine! But if he does anything! That's it!" Kyle's dad yells.

Kyle smiles. "Oh thank you! Thank you!!" he then runs out of his room and to the square where Cartman was.

---

There Cartman stood, with a sign he was forced to hold telling of his crime.

People were throwing things at him, he just took it, not like he could leave thanks to Stan tying something to his ankle. It was a rope with a weight. The rope was rubbing against his ankle roughly, giving him rope burns every time he moved.

Kyle then ran over, "Cartman!"

"Kyle? I thought you were home? I thought your parents would have stopped you from seeing me..."

"They tried but...I convinced them...what's happening?" Kyle asks.

"Getting things thrown at me. I deserve it."

"Oh Cartman...I'm going to help you..." Kyle says as he starts removing the rope, "Come on, it's not going to be fun, and I'm going to go easy....but we'll do it together, cause I love you..."

Cartman blushes and drops the sign as he cups Kyle's face, "I love you too...ok.."

And like that...they kiss.
