Mike looks up at the Burke's house in awe. "Wow, he lives on the nice side of town huh?"

We had been here to talk to Clay, Carlton's dad about Freddy's. He had been the Chief of Police so I knew he was the right person to talk to about this. He surely wouldn't take it lightly.

"Yeah, he was the rich kid in our friend group," I chuckle. "But his dad is the chief of police and his mom is the district attorney. Yeah, his house was always my favorite to spend the night at. He had everything."

He chuckles. "I'm sure it was."

I knock on the door, waiting for it to be answered. Shortly after, none other than my old pal Carlton opens the door. He looks shocked to see me.

"Hey Carlton," I smile leaning against the doorframe.

"Hey [Y/N], how have you been?" He asks pulling me into a hug.

"I've been okay," I smile as he hugs me. It's been a while since we last saw each other since he went out of state for college. "How's college been going for you?"

"It's been good!" He smiled, as he looked over at Michael. "Anyways, who's your friend?" He asks immediately cutting to the chase. Carlton had always been nosy. I would've rolled my eyes if we weren't here for more pressing matters.

"This is Mike. Mike, this is Carlton, he's one of my childhood best friends," I smiled, as they shook hands. "We're actually here for something important. Is your dad home?"

"Weird question, but he's still at work. Why?" Carlton asked.

"We need to talk to him about something important. Is it okay if we wait for him?"

"Yeah, you guys can come in," He says, his voice giving off a hint of concern. "He's been busy with everything going on with Freddy's, I'm sure you've heard."

"Well, that's actually what we're here to talk to him about," I admit.

"No way. Are you serious?" Carlton asks in disbelief.

"Sadly," Michael chimes in.

Carlton leads us to the living room, offering a spot for us to sit. He sits across from us.

"God, you two look like you've seen a ghost," Carlton says speaking up. Which had honestly been true, we both had been very nervous.

About fifteen minutes later, Carlton's father walks in looking exhausted from work. He looks over to see Michael and me sitting on the couch, his face covered with confusion.

"Hey [Y/N]," He smiles.

I immediately cut to the chase. We couldn't play games anymore, this was serious. "Can we talk to you about Freddy's?"

"Oh— Yeah, [Y/N] I'll talk to you first."

Clay leads me to his home office. Papers had been scattered all over his desk. All the papers looked to be reports from Freddy's.

He must really be in deep.

"Take a seat." He offers as he sits across from me. "So, what seems to be going on?" Clay asks.

I took a deep breath immediately feeling anxious "I know what happened to those missing kids."

"You do?" He sounds shocked. To be fair the last time I had seen him was way before I started working at Freddy's. He probably didn't know I had any sort of connection.

"Yes."

"Can you tell me exactly what you know?"

I take a deep breath, knowing I have a lot to say. "Mhm, so I started working there about a month ago and I worked the night shift with Michael. It was really weird because the animatronics were aggressive toward us. This was all during the time that kids started going missing." I say trying my best to recall what had happened. It wasn't even the fact that it happened so long ago, it was just so much had happened in such a short time.
