Recently every time we've watched a movie my mother makes a comment about. " You gonna stay  or are you gonna wander off half way through the movie". Like I would wonder off if we stopped picking movies I don't care for. Like I could not care less about the robot child destined to save it's people or the killer for hire wanting to stay and raise her family but unable to untangle herself from her job. But those movies aren't bad, their just not my style, and it can't always be about me and my tastes. So i'll give them a shot but sometimes I can not bring enough care to the plot to stay the entire duration. but hey it's better then when they suggest something like the hunger games, fuck the hunger games in it's entirety. Or a horror movie, i'd really rather be stabbed.
But this particular time, since we have a hundred and one streaming services I figured this is my chance to finally watch a Studio Gibli movie. I keep hearing such good things about the plot, the art, and the charaitures. So I put the option out there, my mothers never heard of it, but we get past that. And I nudge in the direction of Howls Moving Castle, because thats the one I've heard the most about.  But also point out the other ones I've hard about like my neighbor totoro, kikis delievery service, and spirited away. You know the populor ones. My mother some how ends up on Castle in the Sky, never heard of it but it was done by studio gibli so I was willing to settle. It seems to be settled. We all go our seperate ways untill my brother gets home from work. But then we get called down some 20mins later because turns out my brother doesn't get home untill later then we thought, He doesn't care so we agre to start the movie sooner. And my mother shows us the trailer for the assassian movie and goes what about this, and i'm mildly annoyed because i though we settled to the castle in sky one but whatever. And then dad goes yeah lets watch that one and then my sister agrees. And i die a little on the inside because i though we were gonna watch something intreasting.

slow connection speed, so much buffering, i didn't even make it halfway, just barely made it through the intro.
