Chapter 93 Reunited

(Y/n's POV)

When I walked through the gates with Rengoku, there were so many people there. Some of them I knew, some of them I didn't. Rengoku was standing with a beautiful woman with red eyes and deep black hair. Rengoku gave me a hug.

"I'm so proud of you....... I still remember how strong you were the day I met you when Uzui introduced you to me as his Tsuguko."

I smile, "Yeah..... Those were good times."

Rengoku finally introduces who's behind him, "This is my mother, Ruka."

I grin at her, "Oh! Hello! So you're Mr. Rengoku's mother? It's an honor to meet you. May I say that you look very beauti-"

A small child that I didn't know clinged on to my leg.

"Oh um....... And who might you be?" I ask

The little boy with the shaved head and the yellowish green haori looked up at me.

"Is Tanjiro and Nezuko okay?"

I lightly smile and kneel down to him. "Tanjiro and Nezuko are fine. He's doing great. Are you his brother?"

The boy's mother came up to him, "Shigeru, it's not polite to cling to people like that."

She spoke so calmly.

"Are you Tanjiro's mother?" I asked

She nodded her head. "I'm really sorry about my son."

"Oh, it's fine. I'm used to people just randomly clinging onto me because of Ze-......."

I go silent for a second. A little girl and Shigeru and a baby boy looked up at me. I try to smile.

"Why are you upset?" The girl asked.

"I just........" I fight back my tears, "There's just........ Stuff I had to leave behind..... Stuff that meant a lot to me........"

"Like............ people?" The girl asked.

"Hey, Hanako, don't get in people's business like that!" A slightly older boy said

"But I'm just trying to help Tankeo!" Hanako talks back.

I giggle. "It's okay....... It was just a-"

The little toddler tugged on my pant leg. I smile and sit on the floor and let him crawl into my lap.

"And who might you be?" I smile

"That's Rokuta!" Shigeru said enthusiastically.

"Oh! Well it's nice to meet you, Rokuta."

Tanjiro and Nezuko's family was so big. I just met 4 of his siblings, plus their mother and a man behind their mother with a long pony tail who I can only assume is Tanjiro and Nezuko's dad.

"What were you saying though?" Hanako asked.

"Oh! Right........ Yeah........ I was just upset because I had to leave behind many different people that really meant a lot to me........" I tear up a little, "But I'll be okay....... He needs to learn to be happy without me for now and I'll try to learn in the meantime as well."

"Who's 'he'?" Shigeru asked

"Oh- uh- my fiance-"

Another little boy climbs into my lap along with Rokuta.

"Oh, uh, is this another one of your siblings?" I ask

"No......." Takeo said.

Genya then pushed through the people a little, trying to follow the small child.
