Chapter 59 Uzui's Rage

In the morning was the day that Zenitsu and my hashira training started. That's why Uzui was at the butterfly mansion the other day. He's still not a hashira anymore but he agreed to come back to train students. Tengen was the first hashira we had to start with and his training can be pretty cruel sometimes. I decided to prepare Zenitsu since I knew Zenitsu would get it harder than I would since Uzui can't stand Zenitsu.

"Alright Zenitsu, I'm gonna warn you, training with Uzui will not be fun at all. Never ask for breaks around him. Honestly, don't ask any questions. He'll listen to them most of the time but there will be repercussions. Don't question anything he says or asks. Just do it." I explained

"You let this guy train you!?" He kind of panicked, hiding behind me.

"Yep. We're supposed to meet him at his old mansion." (Each hashira gets their own mansion). "Thankfully, we don't have to get too lost since I've been there several times before. I used to go there every day!"

We got there and went to Uzui's backyard.

Uzui just stared at Zenitsu, the other demon slayers there to train, and I and said one word.

"Run."

I immediately start running. Everyone else was just there confused. Uzui then took out his wooden stick and started beating everyone with it.

"I said run damn it!"

Everyone started running. I knew Uzui. I knew what I had to do. Uzui would just make us run until we surpassed our limits. He never tells you when to stop. You just run until you collapse and then when you collapse he beats you. Once he gets bored of chasing you around and you surpass your limits, he'll make you go through a bunch of fitness workouts. His wives do feed you pretty good though. They have unlimited food that they give out to the runners.

Zenitsu was trying to catch up with me the whole time but I was trying to stay as far away from Uzui as possible because I didn't want him to see my bites. If he did he would make me run forever. Zenitsu finally used his thunder breathing to catch up with me.

"Y/n chan! Are you okay!? I just want to make sure you're not feeling sick or anything." Zenitsu said.

He's been acting like I'm made of glass all morning.

"I'm fine Zeni, what about you? You look tired."

"I mean, we've been running for an hour now. I'm pretty tired." He said panting. "But back to you, you don't feel sick or anything? No morning sickness?" Zenitsu asked.

"Zenitsu! It's way too early to tell! Stop worrying me!" I said, looking kind of nervous.

"I'M SOOORRRRYYYYY! I'M JUST SO SCARED AND TIRED!" He said. "MY LEGS ARE SO SORE!"

"You'll be fine."

"NO I WON'T! MY LEGS ARE SO SORE THAT I'M PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE TO GET THEM AMPUTATED!"

Zenitsu was so busy screaming that he tripped and fell. Uzui came running behind him, ready to beat his ass with his wooden sword.

"Quickly run!" I try to pull Zenitsu off the ground but Uzui beats me to it, literally. He started beating us to a pulp. I was finally able to get up with Zenitsu and start running again. We kept running until sundown. He let us finally leave but we had to come back the next day. When I was about to leave with Zenitsu, Uzui pulled me aside.

"Y/n, let me talk to you."

Zenitsu looks at Uzui angrily.

"I'll meet up with you later Zenitsu." I said to him, He was hesitant to walk away but he ended up leaving and listening to us from afar.
