Chapter 74 Shinazugawa Siblings

When we got back to the butterfly mansion, Zenitsu and I were covered in vomit and blood and welts. We were all swollen. We looked like balloons..... Balloons in a lot of pain of course. When we got to the butterfly mansion, people were starting to get really really concerned. Everyone who has come back from Sanemi Shinazugawa's training has been seriously hurt and it's starting to concern people. Not to mention, his training is close to impossible to pass as well since the whole point is just to impress Sanemi with your skills and his opinion can be pretty harsh. I can't believe we have to do that tomorrow as well...... I'm in so much pain.

Aoi, Kiyo, Sumi and Naho kept really good care of me and Zenitsu since they felt bad for us. They were taking care of us all night, giving us different ointments and medication.

The next morning, we went to Sanemi's training again. It was just as awful as yesterday. We showed up and it was the same thing as yesterday. I try to attack him, he hits me until I bleed and vomit, I end up hitting him at one point, he knocks me out ect. When I got up, Zenitsu passed out next to me, just like yesterday.

He opens his eyes to look at me and puts his hand on my back to hold me down.

"Please don't leave and get hurt again...... Just pretend to be knocked out for a while....."

I give in.

"Fine....."

I stay there and lay down. If I fight Sanemi any more, I think I might get seriously hurt and I can't have that.

(Zenitsu's POV)

I was truly terrified. I never even wanted to do this stupid hashira training and now this..... I'm gonna be dead by the end of this...... OH!

I hear Tanjiro in the distance.... He must have finished Mr. Iguro's training!

"Y/n chan! I'm gonna go get help for us! You stay here and stay very very still! I'll go get help!"

I ran as quickly as I could and climbed the fence. On the other side of the fence was Tanjiro. I knew it was him! I immediately jumped in front of him and started screaming for help as I clinged to him.

"H-H-HELP ME AND Y/N CHAN ESCAPE TANJIRO, TANJIRO TANJIRO!!!!!"

"Escape?! Escape from what?!" Tanjiro questioned as I climbed on him for comfort.

"I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! I F-F-FINALLY RAN AWAY! I CRAWLED UP THE FENCE AND DISAPPEARED LIKE A LIZARD! Y/N CHAN IS STILL IN THERE! HER LIFE IS IN DANGER! WE'RE GONNA GET KILLED!"

I then see Y/n peak over the fence.

"Zenitsu look out!" She said,

"Y/n chan! I told you to not mo-"

I feel a giant hand grab the back of my head. It was Mr. Shinazugawa. I'm a dead man!!!!!!!!!

"Choose....... Return to training or die...." Mr. Shinazugawa said.

"PLEASE HAVE MERCY!!! GYYAAAAHHHH!!!"

"Zenitsu! Calm down!" Tanjiro said as I saw Shinazugawa's raging face stared into my soul!!!

"SILENCE!" Sanemi chops my neck, knocking me out.

(Y/N's pov)

When Zenitsu ran away, Sanemi immediately noticed and went around the fence as Zenitsu climbed over the fence. Once I saw that Sanemi was out of sight, I jumped up out of my spot and climbed the fence to see Zenitsu begging Tanjiro to help us escape but it wasn't long before Sanemi snuck behind Zenitsu and grabbed him by the head and knocked him out.
