"Aww, just look at them, Mox."

"Still, we gotta wake them up. What are we going to do, drag them into the car without them knowing what was going on?"

"Step aside, ass-fucks. I've got this."

Splice's eyes snapped open as Blitzø's hand reached for their face. "Don't you fucking dare." They spat. Blitzø smirked. "Works every time." He remarked proudly. Splice let out a groan, sleepily rubbing their eyes. "What's so important that you had to wake me up?" They questioned. Millie lit up. "We're going to Wrath for the harvest jamboree!" She said excitedly.

Several hours and one uncomfortable car ride later, the imps reached their destination; Rough n' Tumbleweed Ranch. The van skidded to a stop and Millie rushed out of the car. "Mama! Daddy!" She called excitedly, running toward two older-looking imps. Her dad picked her up, spinning her around happily.

"Yee-haw! How's my deadly little pumpkin spice doing?" The male imp asked, ruffling Millie's hair. She smiled. "I'm good, pa! Thanks for lettin' us stay here for the harvest jamboree." She answered. Her mom smiled gently. "It's no trouble. We know you aren't making as much anymore since y'all went 'freelance'." She said empathetically.

Millie smiled annoyedly. "Freelance pays fine, ma! We're doin' fine." She muttered. "It's fine." Moxxie stumbled out of the van, dragging along some luggage. Millie grabbed his hand, leading him to her parents. "Anyway, y'all remember my husband Moxxie?" She asked, shoving the nervous Moxxie in front of her judgemental parents.

Moxxie shifted anxiously. "Greetings, Lin. Joe. How have you been, uh, with all the.. flaming twisters and stuff around here?" He attempted to make small talk. Joe crossed his arms over his chest. "We lost our old farmhand to one of them terrors last week." He replied. Moxxie's eyes widened and he chuckled anxiously. "Oh, crumbs! My bad! I am so sorry. I-I didn't mean to open that wound.. sir." He apologized sheepishly.

Blitzø frowned as he approached. "Hey, watch it. I'm the 'sir' around here, bucko." He scolded, crossing his arms. Millie seemed grateful for the change of subject. "Oh, yeah! You haven't met my boss Blitzø. And his hellhound!" She introduced, gesturing to Blitzø and Loona. The hellhound huffed. "I'm not just his hellhound." She said annoyedly.

"Yeah! She's my daughter!" Blitzø said, pulling Loona closer. She rolled her eyes, taking out her phone. "Only on paper." She replied, tapping away apathetically. Splice slipped out of the car, wandering toward the group. "Now, who's this looker?" Lin asked. Splice looked up, holding out their hand to her.

"Name's Splice. It's a pleasure to meet you." Splice introduced themself, dipping down to kiss the top of Lin's hand as the two halves of their tail made a heart shape. Lin let out a bashful chuckle. "You charmer!" She replied. Splice pulled away with a charismatic smile. "It's a pleasure to finally meet the sperm and egg factory that popped out this gem of an assassin." Blitzø said, shoving Splice out of the way to regain the spotlight.
