"Sorry didn't get the message on time." Zues says walking into my office.
"Zues, you need to take this thing serious. Business before everything always."
"Yes man. How it go?"
I turn around looking at him before I walk from the window and sit in my chair taking up a pen and writing a figure on a peice of paper before pushing it to him.
"Bomboclaat badbro, a so much Jasper offer we? A this name money." He says laughing and handing back the paper to me.
"That's why you need to stop play around. I was at his office this morning." I reply pulling out my ringing phone.
I look at the caller ID before answering.
"Send me the information in my private email and do it now please." I say disconnecting the call.
"U nah tell me boh the B a the party wah night." Zues ask looking at me.
"Nothing to tell more than me know her from me uwi days."

I look at the information and close the screen. I have read enough. This new client is a spoilt rich nigga just the type I hate.
A knock comes at my door and I know it's my secretary Sophie.
"Enter."
"Sir the client you are expecting is outside should I bring him to you now?" She ask.
"Send him in." I reply to her easing out my chair a bit.
"Me go make myself busy. later inuh." Zues says walking out.
Sophie close the door behind her after walking out then return a few minutes later with the new client I met with two days ago.
"Hello Mr Gallo." David says taking a seat.
"David, let's get to the point. Your company is making way less because of the expenses you have now." I reply taking out a few files browsing through them.
"How do we solve this?" He ask.
"Give me a day to have everything sorted and then I can update you." I reply.
"Okay I hope to hear from you soon." David says standing.
I watch as he walks out before I knock everything off my desk. Everything was okay in my life until this.
How am I supposed to just move on like this?
I hear a loud knock at my door and I groan internally. The knock comes again but this time a familiar voice on the other side.
"Badbro me a cut inuh." Zues says walking into my office.
"You go pick up Ky from school?" I ask him.
"Not yet, I'm on my way there but your sister wants to get some money from you." He looks around my office while pressing his phone.
I pull out my phone sending him some money before putting the phone back in my pocket.
"I just sent you 600,000. Between you and Talia unuh bill pon the spending."
"Badbro me go govern the thing." He replies while walking out and closing the door behind him.
Zues has been my bestfriend for years now. He is crazy as hell but I got love for him like a brother I never had.

"I didn't see the car." She says holding her chest.

"Don't flatter yourself Zander. Jasper asked me to drop off some documents to a company down there and I'm trying to get home now."
She bend down to pick up a few papers that fell to the ground before briskly walking away.
I look down after she is out of sight and it's a peice of paper with her name and address on the ground.
I check to make sure the front of my car is good before I drive off to get home.
My phone starts ringing and I look at the caller ID and it's Talia.
"Make sure a nuh the money done inuh." I say just as the phone connects.
"No, I'm chilling with my friends at the mall but Kyrie is with the nanny at home."
"Suh weh Zues?"
"I don't know."
"Suh how you deh a d mall but your background suh quite?"
I look down at my phone screen after not getting a reply and it shows that Talia disconnect the call.
Dail Zues number but it's not going through. I try Talia again and it's voicemail.
She turn off her phone because the tracker not showing.
Just as I'm about to try calling Zues again Stappa starts calling me.
"What's up Zan." He says as soon as I answer.
"You know where Zues is?"
"Him gone a negril with him woman him say."
"Suh a that's why him cyah answer?" I ask turning up my driveway.
I disconnect the call without waiting for a response. Zues a fuck with we money.
