Zander Pov

The front door opens and Talia walks in with a little bag in her hand. I'm guessing it's the clothes she had from yesterday.

She walks in the living room and stops when she sees me sitting on the sofa drinking my liquor.

I watch as she place the bag on the floor and walk over to where I'm sitting then kneel on the floor Infront of me with pleading eyes.

"Zander please just understand that I just wanted to spend some time with my friends. You don't allow me to do much."

I look at her before gulping what's left in my glass, stand and walk around her to the kitchen. I place the empty cup in the sink and head upstairs to my room.

I walk into the closet to try and find something to wear.

"Zander please just talk to me." Talia says standing at my room door.

I hiss and walk over to the door and make sure I slam it before heading to the shower.

I'm all dressed and ready to go get some food to eat and relax a bit.

Talia fucked up my entire day and I just need some relaxation.

Music is playing downstairs and I know it's Kyrie blasting the music so loud.

"Daddy bring bag a drink for me." He says as soon as I reach the front door.

I nod and walk out to choose which car goes well with my mood.

9:00pm

Saffire Pov

"Does my ass look too big in this Kay?"

"Saffire your ass is too big in everything." Kay laughs walking out the house with her sister Angel.

I'm not supposed to be out and about as yet but I'm exhausted with the day I had yesterday then today and then seeing Zander.

"Your driving or me?" Kay ask but still head to the passenger side.

I don't know why I'm even friends with this selfish bitch.

We met when her family moved next door to my family while I was still attending university. She was the only down to earth friend I had at the time so I clinged to her.

I already know what she is like so nothing she will ever do will surprise me.

We enter the restaurant and the waiter is trying to find a seat for us because the place is pact to the limit it seems.

"Girl don't look but Zander is right behind us." Kay says to Myself and Angel and they both giggle.

My head instantly snap around to see Zander sitting at a table behind us by himself or so it seems.

"Bitch I told you not to look." Kay whisper then pinch me.

Before I can retaliate after the pinch. Angel walk up to Zander's table and he looks up at her then his eyes land on me.

My whole body feels on fire at how intense he is looking at me. I shift a little to try and get comfortable.

"The place is full so Zander says we can sit with him." Angel says walking back to us.

"No we can fi...."

"Let's go Saffire, I'm not standing around when I can sit right now."

I look at Kay as she smiles and walks Infront of me to the table.

I take my seat and plant my eyes in the menu just to avoid looking at Zander.

He hates me and I know it but if I just glance at him even once I'm like melting ice cream and that's not good.

"You just a read the menu suh. A wah me hard fi look pon?"

"No, I just really want..."

"Nah talk to you. A Saffire me a ask a question."

I look up immediately when he says my name and our eyes meet again and it's like everyone else is non existent in this moment.

"Here is the wine you ordered sir. Is there anything else I can get for you?" The waiter ask looking at Zander.

Thank god for that else I would literally crawl up right here.

"No you can leave but tell the chef to make sure my meal is well done else he is fired."

"Yes sir." The waiter says walking away.

Wait what just happened? Is Zander the owner of this restaurant?

I look over at Kay and she is just mesmerized by Zander as if she is not dating his friend Zues.

Angel is trying to touch him at all times and he is ignoring her.

She hard fi catch a hint though.

"So Saffire you nuh plan fi talk to me?" Zander asks sipping his wine

"About?" I ask him.

"You look good considering."

"Ahmm Zander did you know Saffire lives with a guy. She says they are friends but I think they are more." Kay blurt out at the table.

So remember when I said there is nothing she can do to surprise me. Well bitch I'm surprised right now.

"Kay can you follow me to the bathroom please." I say standing.

She hesitates a bit but stand and we both walk to the bathroom and luckily for me it's empty.

"Kay what the hell are you doing?"

"Firstly calm down. And secondly what are you rambling about?"

"And if I don't plan to calm down what will you do exactly Kay." I ask putting my purse on the bathroom sink.

Before she can answer the door opens and I'm standing face to face with Travis.

"Saffire we need to talk outside now." He says before walking away.

I grab my purse and head outside without saying another word.

I look around before seeing Travis by his car and I walk over to him.

"Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be in the house."

"We have a problem and the boss wants to see you now.
