Zander Pov

I open my eyes and the room is surrounded by people looking at me and all around the room.

Someone walks over to me in full white and shines a bright light in my face almost blinding my eyesight.

I try to move my hands but it's a little stiff. I close my eyes again and try to relax since something is hurting my mouth.

"Zander!"

I open my eyes at the sound of the voice and Talia is leaning over me with tears in her eyes.

"Don't try to talk. They cut your throat and shot you."

Instantly I remember being in the house with DaDa trying to help him move some things.

Stappa walks in with my personal doctor and I watch as both of them take a seat in the room.

"Zander this is hard for me to say but you have to listen to it anyway. Saffire is working with whomever is after you. They even tried to kill me today."

I quint my eyes multiple times to try and get her to understand me but she keeps talking.

"They then tried to kill me and tried to kill you again. The flash drive you gave to Zues, I had it but now Saffire has it."

Talia is just talking my ears off without a pause. I just woke up from a near death situation and she is blabbing her mouth.

All in death Zues can't keep him fucking mouth shut.

I find the strength to hold up my hand and make motions signalling them that I want to write. Talia is looking at me puzzled while Stappa is looking at her.

Two idiots.

"He wants to write. Give him a pen and paper."

I know that voice no matter what.

Dr Hill is here, I hope she did not say anything to anyone.

Talia hands me the paper and I scribble on it then show it to her.

"After what I just told you, your asking for Saffire." She says grabbing the paper from me and walking away.

If I was not damn near bed ridden I would have showed you something Talia.

Two hours later

My eyes open and I look outside to see it's dark. I don't remember going to sleep so it must be the medications I'm on.

The men are still in the room since I believe they are my security. The room door opens and Talia rushes inside with a mean mug plastered on her face.

"Zander, I watch the security cameras and found that Saffire was wheeled out sometime before the second attempt on your life."

Before I can raise my hand to let her know I want to write, Dr Hill walks into the room and over to my bed.

"I'm going to take out the tube. It will be uncomfortable but just relax okay."

I nod and she signal for me to keep my mouth open wide. It feels weird to feel the tube coming out but when it does I gasp for breathe and cough.

"Sorry about that." She says wiping my mouth.

Talia is looking at me and the doctor so I motion for Talia to leave the hospital room.

As soon as she walks out Dr Hill rub her hand over my cheek and plant a soft kiss on my lips. "Don't ever do that again. I thought I lost you."
