I turn in the bed seeing Abby still asleep sprawled out naked in my bed.
Four years ago I could only dream of this lifestyle now look at me, one of the richest young nigga in the country at 26 years old.
The alarm goes off and I get out of bed knowing it's now 8am.
My day usually starts at around 7am but we hosted a function that lasted until early this morning.
There is a knock on my door And I know it can only be one person and that's my little sister Talia.
She is 18 and in upper six so she is here for her lunch money.
"Every morning Zan?" Abby scowl with frustration pulling the covers over her head.
I roll my eyes in exasperation and walk to the door opening it for Talia.
She immediately jumps on me almost letting me fall to the floor with her.
"Yute relax man, why you suh happy?" I ask her walking to my dresser to take up her lunch money and giving it to her.
"Because your finally home again and you promised to drop me off at school once your back from America. No excuses please and thank you." She says folding her arms.
"Alright leave let me get dressed. Mommy leave out
already?" I ask her walking to the bathroom.
"Nope, she a make breakfast." Talia hum walking away.
I walk out the bathroom seeing Abby still asleep. This is my opportunity to leave before she is awake.
I walk over to her kissing her cheek and squeezing her ass then head downstairs to get some food before I drop Talia at school.
"Good morning son." My mom says pouring coffee in a cup handing it to me.
"Morning mom, you sleep good?"
"Yes, all thanks to my heart beat and rock." She says pinching my cheek.
"Mommy bill nuh man." I laugh knowing I love when my mom plays around with me.
"Good morning Daddy." My son Kyrie says walking in the kitchen with his school bag and no shoes on his feet.
"Morning, Kyrie why you don't have on your shoes?" I ask him.
"It's squeezing me daddy. Grandma said she will buy me a new one before she leaves." He replies taking his breakfast from my mom.
"You and your granny alright inuh. Later Kyrie and be good at school."
I take the last bite of my sandwich just as Talia walks downstairs with her bag ready to go.
"Alright mommy, see you later, I love you." I say giving her a kiss on her cheek. "Love you too Ky."
"Love you more me one son" she yells after me as I rush outside.
"Love you daddy." Ky shouts after me.
My mom lives in America but she came here to spend a month with the kids before she has to go back to work in a couple of days.
"Which car you driving?" Talia ask, as we both walk to where I have my car's parked.
"The maybach" I reply, opening the door waiting for her to get in.
We drive in complete silence only for my low music playing in the background.
Just as I pull up to her school gate my phone starts ringing, I look at the screen then smile answering.
"Just the call I wanted to get this morning. Tell me the good news." I answer while parking.
"Twenty-five million dollars in your account as we speak. USD to be precise."
"That's what I'm talking about. Great doing business with you. I'll talk to you later." I say disconnecting the call.
Another smooth business transaction, that's what I like to see. No hassle, no tussle just smooth operation. I dial Zues number hearing it ring.
"Badbro, how you up so early and a after 4 we come in this morning inuh." He says as soon as he answers the call.
"Cause unlike you me have things to do and money to make. Check your account and meet me at the restaurant at 2pm and Zues don't be late."
"One time me late and you a take it hold over me head but everything good. 2pm you say man." He says disconnecting the call.
Talia clears her throat and I realise she is still in the car. I look at her and she motions for me to look outside which I do noticing her teacher standing Infront of my car.
"Forward nuh." I say exiting the car.
I walk up to her form teacher, "Good morning."
"I called you several times lastnight why didn't you call me back Zan?" She says looking straight at me with anger evident in her eyes.
"It was my girl birthday party like I told you Angelbso I was busy but I'll call you later. Talia later inuh." I say walking away and back to my car.
I look through the window in my office and smile to myself, just a few years ago well four years ago to be exact I was a nobody. Just a kid from the ghetto trying to make it in life.
I have it all houses, cars and girls, I'm respected in this country. The same people that used to look down at me can't wait to be in the same room as me, just to even breathe the same air as me.
There is a knock at my door and my secretary walks in holding a file in her hand.
"Sir the meeting you had scheduled for 2pm was pushed up by the client this morning to 12pm." She says handing me the documents.
"Okay contact Mr Fowler and let him know the meeting is earlier." I take up my phone and walk out the office to my car.
It's now 1pm and I'm bored to my ears in this meeting. Zues ofcourse is not here which I warned him against but I'll deal with that later. For now I'm focused on getting through this last portion of the meeting and getting something to eat.
My pocket keeps vibrating so I take out my ringing phone and move away from the table to answer it.
"Zues where are you?" I answer right as the call connects.
"Badbro you need to come home now." Zues replies, sounding sad.
"Why what happen?" I ask walking up to the table and grabbing my car key.
"Abby."
"What happen to Abby Zues?" I reply annoyed at this point.
"She dead."
