"How long have I been unconscious?" I ask the nurse that is putting a drip up.

She looks at her watch then take up a book writing on it. " You have been here for four hours."

"How is my baby?"

"Your little boy is doing great."

"You mean it's a little boy? Zues was right."

She looks up at me then place my chart on the table beside my bed.

"Where you know Zues from?"

"He is my boyfriend and also my brother's best friend."

"Is your brother Zander?" She ask looking at me.

"Yes..why.."

"Your brother was rushed to the hospital. His throat was cut. He is alive for now but he is not doing so good."

I try to sit up and regret it instantly.

"Can I see him please." I beg.

"He is under police guard. Only doctors can go in. Your friend that was in the car is okay she just has a broken leg and hand."

Tears roll down my cheek just thinking how I almost lost my brother. Zues was here protecting us. Saffire got more hurt than me and the car hit my side of the car.

I rub my hand over my belly.

Your a blessing to my life and that's why god protected you.

The nurse walk out and I'm left alone in the room. I remember Zion and Kyrie being alone and it's clear they are after us.

I press the button for a nurse and the same one comes to the room.

"Lend me your phone." She takes it out and hand it to me.

I dial Kyrie's number and he answers on the first ring.

"Who is this?"

"Ky, a Talia. You and Zion go ina the safe room and don't come out until Zander or myself open it."

"What happen to daddy Talia?"

"Ky, take enough food incase it takes days. Don't bring any phone and remember don't open the safe room doors for anyone not even the so called police or grandma. I love you."

I disconnect the call and hand the phone back to the nurse. I don't trust this nurse but she will never be able to locate them so I'm fine for now.

She hands me a pill with some water and I pretend to take them. She smiles at me then walk out. I spit it out and throw it through my window.

Only hope Saffire use her head and see someone is out to kill us. The nurse is coming back so I pretend to sleep.

She walks into the room and waive her hand over my face. "Yeah me give her the pill and she knock out. Your daughter is safe boss. They have him under strong guard boss, I can't get to him."

She walks out and I open my eyes. So that little twit Saffire is an enemy in our midst. Everything makes sense now. Everything started going left as soon as she arrived.

I ease up off the bed and pull the IV from my hand. I peep outside and no one is there.

There is talking inside a room beside mine and the door is half open. I look inside to see the same nurse and Saffire laughing and talking. I move back and collide with someone.

"Yow look weh u a go." I turn around and it's Stappa.

"Idiot a me Talia. Weh me brother."

"Wah happen mek u deh ina hospital? Boss deh pon ward with some a we people them. Forward nuh."

We walk towards the back of the hospital to a room that seems like it is not in use anymore.

Stappa open the door and I walk inside to see doctors and nurses surrounding Zander.

He has a big bandage at his neck and several over his chest area. He looks swollen and darker than his usual complexion. My heart breaks seeing my brother like this and I instantly remember seeing Zues like this.

"Where was he found?" I ask no one in particular.

"Zues old house."

"How did you know to go there?"

He looks around before pulling me to the side.

"When he wakes up don't let him know I told you. We tap into the police system and I was monitoring it. A report came in about multiple gunshots at Zues address so I got there before them."

I nod and wrap my arms around him. "Thank you."

"Zander a me brother suh it all good."

"Weh DaDa?"

"Me a call him but me cyah get him."

"Wah happen to you?"

"Saffire and her pussy father and her people them tried to kill me and my brother. She go dead bad. Move me brother cause them still want him dead."
