Zander Pov
I watch her asleep on the hospital bed and all I can think about is the events that lead me to loose her four years ago.
She disappeared right after I saw her that day under the tree at uwi. I didn't get a call or a text. I went back to the university the next day and she was gone, it's like she didn't exist.
Here she is years later right Infront of me on a hospital bed. The woman I was inlove with for so long is laying Infront of me.
I pull my ringing phone from my pocket and look at the screen to see my son's name. I press the answer key immediately.
"Kyrie what's wrong?" I ask as soon as the call connects.
"Daddy, everyone is worried about you. Are you okay?" He ask.
"I'm fine Ky, tell grandma I won't be coming home tonight I have some business that is running late."
"Okay dad, I love you." He says ending the call.
"Who is Ky? A girlfriend?" Saffire ask smiling at me while I place my phone in my pocket.
"He is my son."
"How old is he?" She ask turning on her side.
"He is ten." I reply sitting back in my chair.
"Wait so when we..... You had a child. Your pathetic Zander. Please get out of my hospital room." She says raising her voice at the end.
"Easy yourself yute. Know a who you a talk to suh."
"Wah u go do Zander? Just leave."
I stand from my chair looking at her and walk out of the room. She said I should leave the room so shall it be.
Why does she care if I have a child or not?
Zues Pov
"Yeah boss."
"License plate fg458 and Zues kill everyone in the car. Take the number inside the phone that's in the car and let them know I'm coming."
He disconnects the call and I shake my head. My party was just about to start.
"Zues a the boss that?" DaDa ask looking at me.
"Yeah and we need fi make a step yah now." I reply walking out of the venue.
I pull up to the location where we tracked the car to. It consists of three people inside.
I turn to the four men in the back of the car.
"Listen up everyone. Three people inside the car and the boss want all dead. Make it fast and ofcourse torch the car after. Bring a phone that's inside the car." I instruct to them.
I watch as DaDa and another worker approach the car and open fire killing all three occupants.
They take out the phone and bring it to me and I pull the phone and call back the last number that called.
"Did you find him?" The man says on the line.
"Crypto sends his regards." I end the call and toss the phone through the window.
"Set the car on fire now."
Need to take a shower and get dressed before all my guests arrive at my party before me.
I pull up to my house seeing the detective guy that questioned Zander standing at my gate with a smile on his face.
I exit the car and walk up to him.
"Why are you at my house?" I ask pulling the front door.
Nothing is inside my house to tie me to any of the crimes I have ever committed under the leadership of Crypto and if there is anything on file by the time I get to the police station everything is gone.
No one knows where the files disappear to and how it disappeared. No sign of them being hacked and no evidence on camera to say someone physically removed or deleted any file.
That's the best part about working for a tech genius who just happens to be a ghost.
"I would like to speak to you about your relationship with Abby." He replies walking in behind me.
"Never really know her like that. Just know she and Zander did a fuck and that's about it." I reply pouring a glass of scotch in two empty glass and hand one to the detective.
"So at no point we're you left alone with her or talked to her?"
"Ofcourse we talk. Regular hi and bye."
He looks at me and I smile feeling content with my answer.
He seems desperate to crack this case but I think he is biting off more than he can chew.
"My question to you detective is why your questioning me about my bestfriend's dead girlfriend?" I ask taking a sip of my drink.
"That will be all. Thanks for the drink but I'm on duty maybe another time." He says walking out.
This detective bwoy ago be a crawsis inuh but me a gwaan watch him.
I walk out the shower and quickly put on my clothes before heading downstairs and Zander is sitting on the sofa scrolling through his phone.
"Why the detective did in a your place." He ask standing.
"Questions about Abby"
My phone starts ringing beside him and he hands it to me.
"Answer your wife call yute." He says leaning back in the sofa.
"She good man." I reply throwing the phone on the opposite sofa.
"Suh caz me deh yah u nah answer you gyal." He says before handing me an envelope before walking out.
I open the envelope he handed me and it's 6 million dollars and a key.
One thing Badbro ago mek sure him friend them good.
I grab my phone and call back my lady.
"Hey baby, I don't think I can do lunch today."
"Do you thing man." I reply throwing my shirt on the sofa.
"Ezekiel don't be like this please."
"Yow hear wah, me just forward ina me house and me go lay down and take a 5 suh later."
Me have an idea why she cancel but I really wanted to spend the day with her and just relax.
Guess Kay will have to do for today.
