Anticipation of the Infinity Castle collapsing could not prepare her for the inevitability as to what might happen once the place collapsed. Would they all die? Was there an anchor as to where this place was built and would be placed there? Or would they be sent back to the spot they had been pulled from before entering into the castle itself. The very knowledge that she did not know what might happen had terrified her. This wasn't a fight with another demon, nor a sparring match where she could calculate what might happen next and gain some bit of knowledge of how it might end. Here, she was in foreign terrain. Here, she was in the unknown. A place that terrified her to her core. Tightening her hold on Akaza, Nagano buried her face into the crook of his shoulder as the world shook. She had felt confident enough that if the two of them had come out of this surrounded by demons that she'd be able to protect them, especially if they were regular demons that roamed around. Though it was entirely unknown if she'd be able to properly if any of the upper moons if they were still alive had been the ones the two of them had been surrounded by. Doma had been a difficult fight that would have ended with her life if he hadn't been ordered to keep her alive, even with his restraint she had nearly died. Who knew what might come out of it if the others were still around. She prayed to any god that might answer that it would be anything but them. If Muzan was still as furious as he was when the two of them took the antidote, she assumed that his anger would have been pushed out onto them if they were still alive to do his bidding and get rid of them.

As the world slipped around them, the two of them collapsed as the world shifted around them and the groaning of the wood grew louder. Hearing the cracking sounds of the shattering wood, Nagano lifted her head from his shoulder for only a moment to see where the sound had been coming from. With widened eyes, she watched as the ceiling above them came crashing down. Amidst the panic, Akaza leaned forwards and pushed her head and body to be fully covered by his own as the splintered wood fell on top of them. Attempting as she could against the strength he had even as a human, she felt his biceps tense as his grip over her tightened. As much as she wished to turn and be the one to protect him, he was not going to budge. Her outfit had been created to help shield them from attacks from demons, so at the very least it should protect them from falling debris. As much as she tried to wiggle out of his grasp to swap, the tighter his grip on her had become. Closing her eyes tightly, she clung to what she could of em as they rolled along with the debris and collided into solid ground.

A few breaths. A few breaths was all it took for the world around them to feel right. To feel even slightly safe enough to look around. Grunting, Akaza pushed himself off of Nagano shoving the debris to either side of them. When the shattered wood had no longer been on top of them, the two of them slowly pushed their way out until they were completely free from the mess. Their surroundings had been completely different to the place they had been when they were originally summoned to the Infinity Castle. They had been in the middle of what looked to be a silent city. With no one in sight to peer at the sudden explosion of the destruction of this area, Nagano had assumed either this place had been entirely abandoned, or at the very least escorted to somewhere safely. Squinting her eyes to look at each building, she tried as much as she could to grasp at where they might be. Though she would fail. Before she had been sent out into the country, her missions had typically taken her out to smaller villages, small homes, or even sections of the forest. She hadn't had any that brought her to the large bustling cities. Though she was well aware of them. Tengen had described them a little more in detail to her when he had arrived from the mission he took the boys on to rescue all three of his wives. She was sure that his descriptions would have done it justice if the lights in the city had been on, or the streets being filled with the countless people. Now it seemed more like a ghost town. All around them scattered piles of debris laid around in piles, bodies of already slain slayers lay lifeless in their piles. Biting her lip, Nagano continued scanning the area around them. She could not see anyone alive in the immediate area other than the two of them, though the distant rumbling and explosions had been enough of a distinction on not only where everyone else was at, but that the fight had continued on.
